it had to do with my strawberry blonde hair or something and the fact I was the last to loose my virginity. Had a conversation with my ex girl friends dad just recently. I mentioned that I'd just seen her at the Mushroom Fest and that she looked good. Saw her dad again just last night and he said now that she's asking about me, where I live, what I'm doing, etc.. She's 15 years younger than I am, but I'd date her again in a heart beat. She's almost perfect. She had a kid and gave it up because she knew she wouldn't be a good mother AND had her tubes tied, not to mention that at 38 is still extremely HOT! Hell I'd even marry her.

So I'd say if you want date someone younger than you, woman to man or vice versa, do it. All that really matters is "do you get along."

Well your opinion is noted room, but I think what she did was admirable. She was single, had no money, no career, and knew that the kid would have a much better life brought up by someone else. I think you should have had enough sense to see that... you too Annie. I wouldn't have expected that sort of judgment from you. You both should have at least given her credit for not having an abortion.

Good rule of thumb when your older is the 2/3 rule. Your partners normally should be within 2/3 of your age if younger.

That's a good rule for high school seniors.

A possibly more workable rule for age differences, one which I'm told is rather ancient.

I am informed, this suggestion is for the appropriate age difference for men, but I suppose there's no reason it wouldn't work for women, too.

The youngest your S.O. should be is one-half you age plus seven years.

If you're 20 y.o male for example, you SO should not be less old than .5(20) + 7 = 17.

If you think about this for men, taking into account that women do seem to emotionally mature faster than we men do, it sort of makes sense.
