Would we have had a civil rights movement if Rosa Parks and other did not get in the face of the segregationists ?

Would we have a United States if the colonies did not get in the face of the British ?

Would we have a Constitutional Republic if people did not get in the face of those who thought Geo Washington should be king?

Would YOU have freedom of religion and free speech if those who advocated for it did not get in the face of those who opposed the bill of rights?

So this is a Murder Cult rebellion against the USA, huh?

Sounds insurrectiony.

.

You didn't include choice 3

OP is a cowardly ****

Blaming the victim is so Trumpian m..

Roy Cohen 101 - The fatal shooting of Renee Good at the hands of an ICE officer was initially treated as a civil rights investigation, but Justice Department leadership later ordered the FBI and prosecutors to treat it as an assault on a federal officer and instructed them to investigate Good's wife, CBS News previously reported.
Ummmmmmmmmmmm, when you drive your car toward and hit and federal officer, it is an assault on a federal officer.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmm, I kind of covered that in the OP. Apparently these people thought the risk of going to an unsafe area they believed to be a worthy cause. I wonder if they would still think that in hindsight? Something for other protesters to think about. Do you feel better about yourself knowing that someone else might get good video of you being killed? Or, would you rather have stayed home that day and watched reruns of Gilligan's Island instead? Is the cause good enough to die for?

Protesting is not supposed to be unsafe. It's a Constitutionally protected action.

Well, the second person killed obviously knew it was unsafe but went anyway.

Here is the problem with your poll: Just because one “gets in the face” of ICE does not mean they deserve to die.

Now with Goode, she should have exited her vehicle. The fact that she did not contributed to her death. She should have not been shot, but if she had stopped, she would be alive today.

Pretti is different. He was protesting and his arms were raised and he was no threat to the ICE agents. Deadly force was totally unwarranted especially as his legally possessed gun was taken and he was on the ground. Pretti was executed for no reason and his family deserves justice.
If you go to get in the face and interfere with law enforcement doing their jobs, you shouldn't expect that to end well.

<~~~~~~~~~~>
Indeed, that immediately is negated when protesters physically attack Federal authorities carrying out their duties, especially when the protester attempts to use a vehicle or a pistol to prove their point.

if they hadn't been getting in ICE's face? My wife and I have always taught our kids to take responsibility for their own safety. Don't ever put yourselves into a predicament that is unsafe for you you because, ultimately, much of your safety has to do with the choices you make in life. If other things are more important to you than your own safety then you are taking on the responsibility of putting yourself into an unsafe environment. The poll question is very simple, that's why there are only two choices. Either they would be alive today if they hadn't injected themselves into an unsafe environment and got in ICE's faces or they wouldn't.
You and your wife would do well to teach your kids that shooting to death Americans legally exercising their free speech rights is not tolerated. No one is above the law, and pursuit of the truth is paramount. They should never submit to the government lying to them.

Videos of the shooting of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis contradict several details provided by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcementand Department of Homeland Security officials.

Why aren’t all protestors shot then, stupid.

They obstructed law enforcement, then assaulted law enforcement.

Classic FAFO.

Also classic play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Also classic Darwin at work.

You are just as stupid as they are….er, were.
Bingo!

I have never met a Dimwinger who had a clue what the Constitution says, except for the “general welfare” clause that they have bastardized into a nanny state.
That's mostly because they believe in mob rule, no matter what the Constitution says.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm, but they weren't doing that. They were both interfering with law enforcement doing their jobs and in Good's case, she moved her car toward and hit a law enforcement officer.
