You might not have seen it, but I have experienced it. I have been harassed and insulted by Evangelical Christians for years, with dire warnings of how G-d is angry at Jews and will send me to Hell if I don’t repent.

You have not seen it from me. They are taking the approach that people need to be warned that we all face judgement but without preaching God's mercy and love they are not sharing the whole Gospel.

That was the end of that friendship.

Yes, some are too aggressive. They're taking the approach that people need to understand that there is only one way to the Father but don't understand that they're turning people away by coming on so strong. The most effective evangelism is living the Christ-like life and drawing people in who see and want that. That being said, there is a time and place for the direct approach, but one has to be in tune with the Spirit to know when to do that.

You seem reasoanble, so I appreciate that. Two points:

1) The thing that gets me is that Christians think they’re telling Jews something we haven’t heard before. What?! You say if I don’t believe in Jesus, I go to Hell? Wow! I never knew that!

2) Jesus was living a good life, exemplifying Jewish teachings. His famous directive - to do unto others as you would have them do unto you - is right from Hillel. So when you say to live a “Christ-like” life, you’re really saying to live according to the 613 mitzvot that Judaism requires. Why then must we follow one of its adherents, rather than just follow Judaism’s teachings?

3) The idea that there is only one way to the Father is the Christian teaching. There are different ways in Judaism. Why must we adopt the Christian teaching, instead of just sticking to the Jewish teaching?

Example, God allowed Pilate to hang His only Begotten Son on a cross........ why? Because no one knows the plans of God except those things/subjects He decided to reveal through inspiration of the Holy Spirit (there are some 55 passages that explain this in detail with no ambiguity)......No one knows the mind of God, not even Jesus Christ knew all things. (1 Cor. 2:11, Matt. 24:36)

But of course, YOU KNOW more than what is written/revealed. "Do not go beyond what is written......." -- 1 Cor. 4:6

I do not claim to know why God allowed Hitler to rise to power........but we do know what was revealed, Hitler and His Socialist empire was brought to kneel before the combined strength of a few righteous world leaders.

When Hitler demonstrated that he (Hitler) was not a righteous agent in protecting and defending those under his authority in Germany and elsewhere ......... A lot of people do not. I don't know why some Christians act like Jews don't know who Jesus is.

Because of the new covenant that He founded. He fulfilled the Law and raised the standard.

Simple answer as written verbatim in the New Testament.

"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. FOR THERE IS NO POWER BUT OF GOD (as explained by Jesus to Pilate when Pilate informed Jesus that he (Pilate) had the power and authority to execute Jesus.......Jesus informed him he has no power except from the Father God-- John 19:10-11).......the powers that be are ordained of God." -- Romans 13:1

When you deny that authority you are denying God. "Whosever therefore that resisteth the power.....resisteth the ordinance (LAW) of God." -- Romans 13:2

So, my question stands....

If I resisted and rejected Hitler, am I resisting God? God's will?

I don't think so, and I would question that interpretation.

Even though God may have allowed an Evil Person to be put in power or even ordained him in power for His purpose...

Those who are true to the Lord, must stay true, to the truth....and if that is resisting and rejecting a Hitler who was 'put in power' for say...a plan of God's that will end in good, or say the Antichrist when he receives his power to reign...for God's purpose to bring about the 2nd coming, in no way does the Bible teach that I am to follow the antichrist because he was put in to place to rule, by God....in all that I've read.

I don't know all of God's plans and why He allows things or does things, but what I do know is He wants us, to resist evil and stay true to His Word.
