Zone1 Would Jesus support Donald Trump if alive today?

No. Rising from the dead has nothing to do with the body, calming the storm has nothing to do with controlling the weather, and healing the crippled or deformed has nothing to do with healing diseases unless you understand that the diseases he healed are of the mind. Rising from the dead, calming the storm, and healing diseases, etc, are all metaphors for hidden subjects that are not necessarily directly connected to the literal meaning of the words used.

Its a Jewish tradition.
So it was all made up. It didn't really happen. It was told that way though. Why? Why would they present Jesus as divine if he didn't really do those things?

or is that from the spoken journals of the 1st century events brought back to life as throughout the centuries...

their fear of the heavenly followers of jesus and their spoken 1st century journals as liberation theology, self determination as today and throughout history they will murder them before hearing the truth.

What? Telling lies? Because that is what you are saying, right? That the 40 or so miracles attributed to Jesus are lies, right? Jesus didn't really raise Lazarus from the dead either, right?

Why were these stories told as if Jesus really did do these things?

Do you believe the miracles attributed to Jesus are lies too?

Sort of like how Leviticus 18:22 isn't really a command for men to not have anal sex with other men?

- till the publication of a new desert bible ... than the madeup one started by a single person 3000 years ago claiming heavenly personification that never existed.
Do you believe Jesus performed miracles or do you believe that was an evil Roman conspiracy to make it look that way?

No, I have been clearly saying that the the Jewish people have been using figurative language and well known literary devices for thousands of years.

Damn, even the person with the least intelligence can understand a talking serpent metaphor.

It is not a lie. you probably voted for one. Don’t blame the Jewish people for your failure to use your own brain to decipher such complicated metaphors that even you should have known since kindergarten

So why did they use figurative speech to show Jesus as divine?

And haven't you said in the past that Paul was lying? That he was a shill for Rome and acting on their orders? Didn't you say that?

stamp out the snakes let the heavens speak loudly, liberation theology, self determination what they gave their lives for in the 1st century.

No,

The intelligent person would apply their mind to decipher the OBVIOUS metaphors to understand the teaching. Thats how the flesh of Jesus is eaten. Devoured by the ear and digested by comprehending. Thats not my narrative. Thats what the story is really teaching.

You are the perfect example of a person who set aside Divine instruction and lost your way.
The trouble with what you are doing is obvious. You cannot allow yourself to accept Yeshua's divinity, so you have to invent, stretch and change the meanings of words to maintain that narrative.

1. You do know, don't you, that your knee will bow, and your tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord, right?
2. Have you figured out yet whether it was 2,000 years or 7 1/2? You do realize that little mess up revealed that you really don't know what you're talking about? We all do.

I have invented nothing. I have made you aware that Jewish people have been using figures of speech for thousands of years. If you don't believe me look it up. Moses Maimonides in 1190ce wrote a brilliant dissertation on "The Language Of The Prophets". Read it before you embarrass yourself further. Even Jesus said in PLAIN LANGUAGE that he was using figures of speech, "Till now I have been using figures of speech" (John 16:25) AFTER telling John the Baptist "The blind receive sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have good news preached to them." in Mat 11:4-6, Luke 7:22.

So smarten up.

"Son of God" is not a claim of divinity. It is a relational metaphor for the prophet described by Moses in Deut 18:18, a Jewish man like Moses who would speak for God indicating an intimate knowledge of God greater than that of other prophets called "servants of God".

To understand scripture does not require "faith". It requires rational intelligence. THINKING.

You should give it a try.

You have been denied comprehension, life itself, by God. Maybe another eon in HELL with the "we beast", Borg, or whatever name it goes by, will help you grow the balls to admit the OBVIOUS. That would show faith in the mercy of God and the healing power of repentance.

I'll pray for you. Just as soon as I take out the trash and return from a vacation in paradise.

:eusa_pray:

So in the meantime remember the thought of the day. This is your daily bread. So just eat it;

So why did they use figurative speech
Great question! Let me know what you find out after doing some basic research. Razz my berries. Just don't flip your wig when you find out how heavy it is. Can you dig it ankle-biter?

That's not how God works. Those who seek Him find Him. To those who knock, the door is opened. Those who ask, receive. You, most certainly, do NOT speak for Him. Interesting that you think you have that kind of access to Him. Here's a hint, you don't.

And you continue to refuse to answer very simple questions. Very telling, that.

No, you are wrong.

Everyone is called, few are chosen. If you received an invitation to attend a black tie event and you show up dressed in filthy rags reeking of cheap wine and vomit the doorman will summarily toss your ass out into the darkness where there is wailing and gnashing of teeth.
