Would Dems have nominated Harris in an actual Primary?

We feared that the Democrats were so lame that they assured Trump's success. Now, we fear Trump is so lame it assures Harris'. Every time, the two party strangle hold provides one bad choice to assure the other, thus easily maintaining its divisive grip on power. In fact, they never extend choice to the people.

But this changes everything, the next few months are going to be so entertaining.
It certainly does change everything… Now Democrats are running somebody their own party hated in 2020 according to the ‘support’ she was able to garner. Hell, Pete BootyJuice and the fake Indian chick were kicking her sorry ass.
Now she has a record of failures behind her…Face it, with no Covid looming, no mail in ballot bullshit and Trump hysteria at an all-time high the circus is coming to an end.

But they hate Trump more and so far out of all the Dems I know, which is a lot...they are all excited by the changes.

And yes, Trump is riding a high after the RNC and being shot at, but that will fade and Harris has just began to campaign.

You seem smart enough to not count your chickens yet, plus there will still be lots of mail in voting. Hell the state you claim to now be voting in has been doing for 10 plus years.

I ships done and sailed when the delegates pledged votes to Harris they changed the rules to do it.
No pledge is bound at this point, from what I understand. Only the convention votes, of which delegates can still change, even after a pledge.

Not doing a poll. Just thought it would be an interesting discussion. I suspect they would not have nominated her. I'd like to think they would have nominated someone with broad appeal who could win independent and never-Trump Republicans votes. But the two-party shitshow doesn't really want candidates with broad appeal, so who knows.

What do you think?
Yes

Nope, she’d have dropped out after the first primary

Dems have shot themselves in the head and don't realize. They see the democrats have through everything at Trump and he's still heavily supported

They did choose Biden, (and his v.p.)

Biden resigned.

There is not time for a new primary under the State election rules. It would be ridiculous and unfair to any new candidates to expect them to be able to campaign for just 2 to 3 weeks, or come up with the campaign funds to run a decent campaign against their opponent in the presidential race.

Not enough time to settle divisions within the Party, with several candidates hopping in 3 weeks before the convention which is unfair to new contenders...no new candidates are hopping in to the race under this time limitation.

And under Party nomination rules that govern this situation at the convention, with a candidate dropping out, it frees up the delegates who represent their state voters, to vote for a new candidate, (which could be after the 1st round of voting?)

Divided we fall, united we stand...

This Hail Mary, only has a chance, and a daring chance at that, is to unite around one candidate.

The voters are not complaining that voted for Biden in the primary that Biden chose to drop out of the race.

I will NEVER stand with people who hate our Constitution, like people who type out paragraphs endorsing this. Never.

If this wins, trust that we are done. No American president will ever be safe from a coup again.

Happy? Proud?

Interesting you want to be entertained? When America is on the edge of a cliff with the Harris banana peel right in front of us?

Harris or Trump....nothing will change.

We are still stuck choosing between being shot or being stabbed.

Dems have shot themselves in the head and don't realize. They see the democrats have through everything at Trump and he's still heavily supported

He has the same support he has had the last two elections. His base never grows

The only real question is will people come out and vote for Harris or stay home like they did with Hillary.

THERE WAS NO COUP.

BIDEN IS STILL THE PRESIDENT

FUCK, YOU ARE STUPID

The 14 million who voted for Biden when he was in the race, are perfectly fine with him deciding to drop out, and will support Biden's VP as the new presidential candidate. The 14 million voters do not feel or think they were disenfranchised. All that right wing crap, is simply that, right wing crap.

The rules are the rules....candidates are not forbidden the choice of dropping out....the candidate that drops out are not forbidden from giving their support or asking their delegates earned to support another person in their place after dropping out, supporting another candidate choice.

Harris may have the number of delegates committed to her verbally to win the nomination at the convention...and she will of course win it,

but that fat lady won't sing, until those State and Super Delegates, vote at the convention.

Were the delegates earned by Nikki Haley in the primary through voters, disenfranchised after she dropped out?

Were you crying and bitching for them?

You may be surprised to find that your girl Makala cannot appear on the ballot in some states--and thus you don't get her EC votes--due to rules about dropping out NOT for health reasons. BC remember, your stubborn, prideful Biden is the absolute picture of health.

Good luck, is all I can say. Lawsuits already filed. Don't complain about it, now. Elections are fine to hold in the court system. You taught us this.

Technically anyone voting for Biden for president was voting for Kamala for president.

As a counter point.

Also, care to share where these low suits have already been filed?

Yes but many voted for Genocide Joe because they can’t stand Don. It’s the old lesser of two evils the duopoly dupes continually do, yet nothing is different.
