TPUSA Endorses Texas AG Ken Paxton for U.S. Senate

Just wait until Texans get more informed on what Talarico really thinks and says.
He'll drop like a stone in the polls.
I don't pretend to know how Texans will vote.

I do anticipate that the Republican Party will allocate considerable resources into two Republicans destroying one another,

I wish them both great success.

Of course, TPUSA would endorse the corrupt serial adulterer. That's part of the story of the moment. Christian MAGA embraces corrupt politicians and then browbeats everyone else with "binary choice" arguments after the primaries. An actual Christian movement would demonstrate moral hygiene in its own primaries rather than exerting herculean efforts on behalf of some of the worst people in American politics.

Moral implications aside, should Paxton win the nomination it will force the Republican Party to pour millions of dollars into the race in order to defend a seat they wouldn't have had to pay much attention to were Cornyn the nominee. Polls show Paxton vulnerable to losing to either potential Democratic candidate.

Well, the guy is now the candidate.

You can see why Trump likes him, Trump must see himself in this guy.

"In October 2020, several high-level assistants in Paxton's office accused him of "bribery, abuse of office and other crimes"."

"n May 2023, Paxton was impeached by the Texas House of Representatives by a vote of 121–23, leading to his suspension"

"Paxton gave preferential treatment to a political donor who bribed him, misapplied public resources and made false statements against whistleblowers, obstructed justice in the securities fraud trial against him, and made false statements regarding his financial interests."

It's basically Trump from Texas.
