Breeze, this isn't the way this works.

I asked you specific questions of these "1st century" events that you have been talking about for months and years on this board BUT NEVER MENTIONED a specific event, specific names, why the events occurred, how many people were involved, what were the names of Jesus' followers and those "that died" for the reputation of Judaism.

If you do not have specific names and dates of who died and/or was crucified and the specific names of the people responsible for their deaths - how can you charge anyone for it?

No specific names, no dates, - then your version of events either did not happen or cannot be substantiated. .

This would mean the version of events written by historians in ancient texts, including the Bible, WITH SPECIFIC NAMES, occurrences, teachings, miracles, and so forth - are the only and truest version of the events mankind has.

In a court of Law you have no case for your accusations, no names, no dates, nothing in writing, or witnesses. Our texts and teachings include ALL OF THOSE THINGS.


As far as the 10 commandments are concerned - I follow what Jesus instructed - which is to love The Lord God with all my heart, mind and soul and to love my neighbor as myself. If I am able to do these two things consistently, then other laws or rules would naturally fall into place.

Admitting sin is seeing oneself as defective, and deep down we know we are not defective but worthy, of not only love, but great love. However, dismissing sin bites us as well because admission of sin is the realization that we can be even greater than we are currently.

When law and lawyers take over sin, the result is either punishment or permission to do the same thing all over again. With psychiatrists it takes one back to all events leading up to sin, dwelling on feelings, with the conclusion, I'm Okay, You're Okay. Again, the point missed that we can be greater than okay, greater than we were previously.

Theologically, being told to examine one's conscience can result in getting bogged down in one's own judgement, worse than any court judge's and the conclusion we must be punished, punish ourselves. What I believe is better is when one takes up the examination of conscience, one discovers, "Hey, I can fix this! I can do better" but along with the recognition that any fix will take work and it will extend over a long time. Where theology may have stopped short is, "Sins are forgiven." While that is great to know, being stuck in committing a sin over and over, to be forgiven over and over, doesn't resolve the deeper issue that we're still in that quagmire of sin.

We don't dive into a swimming pool to be rescued again and again by the lifeguard. We dive into the pool to learn to swim beyond having to be rescued. With sin we want to move beyond being forgiven, we want to be entirely free from sin so that there is no need for forgiveness.

BreezeWood please pay close attention to what I am about to reveal to you - it is the truth as I understand it.

Judaism teaches elements of Liberation Theology but people do not see it - they are constantly searching elsewhere for their answers but if they had just paid attention to what was spoken by the Prophet Isaiah, they would realize the answers they have been searching for have always been "within their midst".

Self Determination is a political philosophy - essentially anarchism. Jesus Christ was not an anarchist - certainly not politically.

There were dozens, maybe more, of cult leaders at the time - some of them considered prophets at the time - that were indeed anarchists and taught vastly different Gospels than the Gospel of Christ. I believe one or two may have even had the name Josh, Jesus or a form of the name.

So it is very easy to conflate religious leaders and their movements during that time period.

There is only one Jesus who is the Christ and his story is written in the New Testament of the Bible.

I've already posted historical sources that date back to between 30 and 70 AD for the Gospel of Mark - and the other Gospels can be sourced within 70 - 90 AD.
