Even over what is good? For example, do you prefer someone to give you a slap-in-the-face or someone offering you a warm coat on an icy day?We like sin.

I read your OP.Even over what is good? For example, do you prefer someone to give you a slap-in-the-face or someone offering you a warm coat on an icy day?
"The events of the first century" and how they are different than what historians and/or the Bible state.

your claim is the christian bible has historical backing for the crucifixion of jesus and the persecution and victimization of the innocent done so by those that wrote the 4th century christian bible ... the state religion of the roman empire. historical backing that has never existed - existing only in the corrupt 4th century self serving christian bible of forgeries, lies and fallacies.
your lies are no different than those of moses and abraham et al .... provide the stone tablets etched w/ ten commandments from the heavens - liar - or remove those commandments from all 3 desert religion religious documents, bibles.
provide a single historical document chronicling the crucifixion of jesus - the likeness of jesus or a single example in stone or clay pottery of an inscription written by the hand of jesus preserved for posterity ... that is not destroyed or even eviscerated for content.
what document of historical content have you that does not lend absolute credence to the fact the 1st century events were not the repudiation of judaism as were nearly all the event themes made by jesus during that time and not a single mention of the roman empire ...
- its time for the liar ace to put up or shut up - provide the 10 commandments or disavow them - or be denied judgement for your crimes when your time for remission is at hand. sinner.
We like sin.
It may go deeper than liking sin, it may have more to do with liking self, loving self. We protect what we love. Admitting sin is seeing oneself as defective, and deep down we know we are not defective but worthy, of not only love, but great love. However, dismissing sin bites us as well because admission of sin is the realization that we can be even greater than we are currently.I read your OP.
BreezeWood please pay close attention to what I am about to reveal to you - it is the truth as I understand it.- or the self serving, idolatrous catholic catechisms used to persecute and victimize the innocent ... for the purposes of their corrupt congregations to stifle and disgorge true religious principles of liberation theology, self determination as taught by jesus.
I diagnosed you with suffering from scrupulosity, a form of OCD, and encourage you to seek help. Immediately. It may go deeper than liking sin, it may have more to do with liking self, loving self. When law and lawyers take over sin, the result is either punishment or permission to do the same thing all over again. With psychiatrists it takes one back to all events leading up to sin, dwelling on feelings, with the conclusion, I'm Okay, You're Okay. Again, the point missed that we can be greater than okay, greater than we were previously.
Theologically, being told to examine one's conscience can result in getting bogged down in one's own judgement, worse than any court judge's and the conclusion we must be punished, punish ourselves. What I believe is better is when one takes up the examination of conscience, one discovers, "Hey, I can fix this! I can do better" but along with the recognition that any fix will take work and it will extend over a long time. Where theology may have stopped short is, "Sins are forgiven." While that is great to know, being stuck in committing a sin over and over, to be forgiven over and over, doesn't resolve the deeper issue that we're still in that quagmire of sin.
We don't dive into a swimming pool to be rescued again and again by the lifeguard. We dive into the pool to learn to swim beyond having to be rescued. With sin we want to move beyond being forgiven, we want to be entirely free from sin so that there is no need for forgiveness.

I asked you specific questions of these "1st century" events

you really have no idea - jesus died for their beliefs of which self determination is a basic tenant -
than those who sin as for their messiah to save them, christianity than for the individual themselves to find the path as was taught by jesus and nowhere found in catholicism or the christian bible.
I've already posted historical sources that date back to between 30 and 70 AD for the Gospel of Mark - and the other Gospels can be sourced within 70 - 90 AD.there is ample historical evidence for the events of the 1st century, your interest can be easily satisfied w/ a simple google search -
where is the archive of the documents preserved for verification as previously requested used for the written christian bible constructed over a 100 year period - you are the one that has no verification for anything included in the manuscript, a single document pertaining to any event than what are forgeries, lies and fallacies found on nearly every page of the 4th century christian bible.
Lash the LaityOnly people without a moral compass don't know right from wrong. You need a class on why cruelty is wrong? If you are capable of empathy you know right from wrong.
Uncovering the Evangelists' Cover Storyso claims who is incapable not to sin, christianity the religion of servitude and denial subservient as their lack of the very knowledge they claimed relying instead on their false messiah to save them.
far from the true events of the 1st century.
Trustfundee Treehuggers Will Destroy All Wealth But Their OwnIs this sarcasm?
"Render Therefore unto Caesar"Breeze, you have repeatedly spoken about "The events of the first century" and how they are different than what historians and/or the Bible state.
Can you give specifics of what occurred - SPECIFIC names? specific places, specific events?
When they occurred? Why they occurred? The outcomes of the events?
AND how they are different than what is written by historians, in ancient texts and within the Bible?
No! In fact they openly and brazenly taught every single person in catechism to defy the Law of God by worshiping bread MADE BY HUMAN HANDS and eating it for spiritual life after making the class memorize the Ten Commandments and teaching that to defy God's Law would result in death, hell, and destruction. I was instructed by my parents to pay attention. So thats what I did.I believe you stated that you were Catholic at some point? Did the Catholic faith prevent you from becoming educated?
Yes.Corrupting the minds and lives?
Do they "corrupt the minds and lives"of the people they treat?
Exactly. They were written by unknown Jewish authors who witnessed the prophecies of Jesus fulfilled, the destruction of Judea, the Temple, their way of life, and the enslavement, exile, and the ruthless slaughter of hundreds of thousands of innocent Jewish men women and children.and the other Gospels can be sourced within 70 - 90 AD.
That "he who is without sin" is based on the incident with Mary Magdalene.
