Working Graveyard

back in the 70's i worked 11 to 6 am for Northrop Aviation & Aeronautics...it went by quick....a 7 hour shift with an hour for lunch....so we only worked 6 and got paid for 8....not bad.....

I worked graveyard for several years, in logistics for a major corporation. I originally took the job because I was filing for divorce and found out that this particular company offered legal insurance as one of the benefits. It didn't take long for me to love what I was doing, and moving up the ladder soon followed. During the Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas season, 60 hour work weeks was the norm for me. The only part I hated was the lack of sleep. With 3 kids and no help, I was lucky to get 3 hours of rest.
