Germany and Japan did not declare war. France and Great Britain did. Then when the whole world was at war (except the US), Japan brought America in by bombing Pearl Harbour. But when you look at the great wide beautiful sky and the magnificent stars (if night), that super-perfect sky of God; then how do you come to think that God had "a human son", and how do you come to think that His son was "killed", and then how do you come to think that that slaughter was "necessary" for you to be saved ?

But to say the God didn't communicate to Adam what behavior he expected of the human family is ridiculous.

France and Great Britain declared war on Germany the day after it invaded Poland. They did not have a defensive pact. Just they did not want to tolerate Germany's expansion, for many reasons. A good part of why Germany's aggressive attitude and Nazism came to be is because of how severely Germany was punished after the 1st world war. There was great frustation, and so slowly slowly Nazism came to be. Germany became more and more a dreaded force. Then when they finally invaded Poland (they invaded other countries before) on September 1st 1939, Great Britain and France declared war to it during the next 2 days.

The whole world was at war, but not the US. Japan brought them in through bombing Pearl Harbor in 1941. 4 years later the US sent 2 nuclear bombs on Japan within 3 days. This is very well documented history. Maybe I am a little wrong. It's possible. In all cases invading a country which has defensive pacts is not a declaration of war. We all know politics.
