The legislative proposals appear necessary as a way to move back to being a moral nation. What happened in Ohio needs to be prevented from happening elsewhere. These women will even cross borders to get abortions.

---Legislative efforts in Missouri and Mississippi are attempting to prevent voters from having a say over abortion rights, building on anti-abortion strategies seen in other states, including last year in Ohio.---

---Texas woman who sought court permission for abortion leaves state for the procedure, attorneys say---

The Comstock Law should be used, but I bet liberals want to get rid of that to.

---A law passed 150 years ago that banned the mailing of contraceptives, lewd materials and drugs that induce abortions could provide a pathway for effectively banning abortion nationwide---

---The most sweeping Comstock Act arguments from anti-abortion activists could at the very least end the availability of medication abortion, which make up the majority of abortions in the US today, and could have the effect of eliminating surgical abortions as well by restricting the shipment of medical instruments and supplies used in the procedure.---

So you're making a thread about how great it is that legislators preventing voters from having their say?

How long have you hated America?

Here's how it works. The PEOPLE elect representatives in the legislatures, and the legislators decide what to put in the laws. BY DEFINITION, the legislators reflect the will of the People. Saying that the legislators are preventing the will of the people from carrying the day is simply stupid. They ARE the will of the people.

Deal with it.

Women cannot get pregnant on their own. We need consequences for males who are responsible for the situation.
Since Lenny has never had sex wit a woman, he does not need to worry.

Wrong.

The legislative proposals are another example of Republicans’ war on women and the authoritarian right’s desire to increase the size and power of the state at the expense of individual liberty.

Women can't be trusted with their own bodies

I have been here for years, and I have seen some shit, lemme tell ya, but this is hands down the stupidest god damned thread I have ever seen here.

You must have dog shit for brains to post something like that.

In most states that would be a killer for Republican House candidates. I see them running and hiding from this. With all the Trump drama, they don’t need another hot-button issue.

It's gone just like your better days
When we are poor enough, they will come ack with a vengeance. For the free money will not be there anymore. Morality. Immorality. It's how many that screw up that is the issue. Progs make it easier to do that. Fence walkers fall your way. It ends up costing us a lot in the long run. Teh costs grow geometrically. from a year, a half decade, a decade a quarter century a half century. One million abortions a year and we still have a huge percentage of the population with single parents rearing their children.
