The video starts to late, and is heavily obscured by all the people between the camera and the car.
Looking at this piece of video, it appears that she slowed down, people wanted her to stop - and she floored it.
You don't have a right to do that. Again - just what I can see in the obscured, less than a second of video at the beginning. It looks like she did not come to a stop, someone stepped in front of her car, people started to approach her and she gunned it.
At that point there is no way to know if these idiots were going to do anything but wave signs around and say some shit.
IF THERE IS MORE VIDEO, particularly showing someone hitting her car in a threatening way - mow em' down like bowling pins in my opinion. But I can't see if that is what happened or not.
- HOWEVER - I also therefore do not see enough evidence to prosecute either. So she should not have been convicted of anything due to a lack of evidence.

She doesn't have a great chance to get a fair trial. The fact that the prosecuting attorneys office even prosecuted her is enough evidence of that.

It's pretty obvious that she was stopped, several people started milling around the car, possibly attacking it, and she panicked. I'd have to call it a justifiable flattening. Not guilty.

In a lot of these areas, innocent citizens were left on their own with no law enforcement to go to.

The video posted by g5000 on page two is the best video out of all of them.
In that video - it indeed appears that she came to a complete stop. For a couple seconds, and then let off the brake for maybe a half second, and then gunned it.
That video will help her, as it supports what she said - that she stopped and people started crowding around her car and yelling.
The video is way too far off to see if anyone hit her car, but I think it is reasonable to believe they did.
After seeing this video, I now support her story.
People do not have a right to stop you in traffic, scream at you and begin hitting your car.
At that point the person has every right to evade, even if that means injuring those people.
