Who do people consider to be less than them? wait. you mean someone with a 40 count rap sheet , violent crimes and killing someone? Ever stop to think, not everything is about hate and thinking someone is lower than yourself.

There have been 202 people on death rows who have been exonerated.

In IL, we were exonerating more people than we were executing, so the state eventually banned capital punishment.

I give you the case of Rolando Cruz here in IL.

The police in DuPage county decided he was good for the murder because he tried to trade information for a reward.

Even though by the time it got to trial, another man named Brian Dugan had admitted to the murder and said he was willing to confess officially if the Death Penalty was taken off the table.

Well, screw that, they already put together this case against Cruz and two of his friends! So they went to trial without telling the jury about Dugan, and got a conviction and a death sentence.

That conviction was overturned, so they tried him again, and it was overturned again. During the course of this, we found out that the footprint they claimed was left by Cruz was from a woman's shoe. And that the cop who said that Cruz confessed admitted he had done no such thing.

Well, low and behold, they finally tested the DNA from the crime scene, and it was Brian Dugan all along!!! Which is great, except Cruz spent 10 years on Death Row for a crime he didn't commit.
