As hard as it might seem to be, we need to give the new President time to do his stuff in office. Do not criticize the new President for something he hasn't done....yet!

Give him (and them) the benefit of the doubt and let's see what they do. Believe me, I will be the first to say something, if something is required to say.

Um, no.

We already know what this guy would do as president because he's held the job before.

Insanity is doing the same thing again and expecting a different result.

If anything, Trump's second term will be worse because

1) Second Terms are always worse.
2) The guardrails that were on him last time - Impeachment, 25th Amendment, the courts - have been effectively removed.
3) The guys who knew what they were doing in the first term won't be here for the second.

We don't want a different result. We want the same result we had last time - a great economy, no new wars, low prices, and unhappy leftists.

I'm okay with that conceptually but what you're suggesting is he has overtly lied about everything he plans to do. I guess I'd prefer that he maintain his track record as a pathological liar seeing as the alternative is he will govern like a fascist.

Well, he hasn't been sworn in and after his win announced, mortgage rates went up and housing and builders stocks went down and did not follow the stock market rally.

I agree with you. I'm just saying give him a chance to change before you drop the hammer!

I'm just waiting to see what he does.

Yah, it will be Trump Unchained.

It would be nice if the left, including the MSM, would stop interpreting everything Trump says in the worst possible way. For example, when he says that there will be a bloodbath in the auto industry if he is not elected he is speaking of economics, not actual bloodshed. When he said there were fine people on both sides at Charlottesville he was speaking about fine people on both sides of the protest to keep up historical monuments and to tear down monuments due to "racist" history.

Trump is a typical salesman who exaggerates about the ideas he sales, kind of like a coffee shop will say they sale the "Best coffee in the world". That said, the MSN and politicians on the left go way too far with the lies they tell about Trump, and lots of people believe those lies because those lies are what they hear over and over again.

The Dems will try to derail his presidency as they did before. Thankfully he'll have a friendly Congress, at least for a couple of years. I just hope he doesn't try to finish his wall. Chain link fencing with lots of razor wire patrolled by the military is all that is needed. Effective, cheap and easy to remove. Good training for the troops.

It took 2 years before I started criticizing Bush43. Only 18 months before I withdrew my support for Obama.

I'll give Trump the space to strut his stuff.

And then...
