The AP headline that attracted my attention yesterday concerned a patient in Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare who was discharge back in October but so far has refused to leave. Hospital is suing to evict.

Refusing to feed somebody that won't leave after discharge is not violating the Hippocratic oath in my opinion. That's just refusing to accommodate a malingerer.

Sounds logical. After seeing this yesterday on the Associated Press I looked for a Tallahassee local news source but the one I came across didn't add any more details.

I'm amazed by these people who think rules and laws don't apply to them. These "sovereign citizens" court cases keep popping up as YouTube recommendations. I watch a few from channels I've come to know and get into the ones where the judge doesn't waste any time putting up with their bullcrap.

This happened at Bay Area Kaiser Hospital a few years ago, it a court order and three years het removed.

At the end of his life, my Dad was in and out of the hospital a few times. My mom, brothers and sister are better people than me so they were there with him every day. On the times I went, I noticed many seniors in ICU who never had anyone with them.

Maybe that what's happened with this lady? She has no place else she wants to go
