So let's review. Trump threatens to build a wall. All these folks who would have normally waited decide, "We'd better sneak in before the wall goes up!" A lot more people snuck in under Trump than Obama. The only reason why it went down in 2020 was because Covid destroyed all the jobs and it was too dangerous to come here. All those people waiting in line just rushed to the border when Covid went away and Biden could no longer abuse Title 42.

What needs to happen is to staff the immigration apparatus to process cases quickly sufficiently. Instead, Trump let Steven Miller take an ax to it because he doesn't want ANY immigrants, legal or illegal.

The only country that could be said to have used an "Electoral College" was the Holy Roman Empire, which wasn't Holy, Roman or an empire by the time Napoleon abolished it. Be very specific: which other countries have used an Electoral College? Certainly no country uses it today. Even the Philippines, which had a government we devised for them, didn't use an EC.
