Let's try freedom of speech and freedom to protest and freedom of the press.
In the US a person has the right to say whatever they want. There are, of course, limitations to this. Treason, libel and the like. People also have the right to protest. This is, of course, within legal means. Like, not breaking things, or killing people or hurting people etc.
But Trump keeps doing things that go against this.
Try Hesgeth changing the policy on reporting military things. He wants to control what they say.

The Founding Fathers were worried the govt could declare who was religiously scrupulous and prevent them from "bearing arms". Trump may be able to declare people "antifa" and prevent them from doing this that or the other.
US Democracy is fragile. Because it's a two party system, and those two parties control EVERYTHING. The Greens are the third party in the US and have almost not representatives (and we're talking dog catchers here).

Well, I'm not saying the Democrats are the best people are securing freedom of speech. However compared to Trump, they're much better.
Freedom of speech isn't really about lies either. Politicians lie, people EXPECT politicians to lie. In 2007 Gordon Brown was made PM and the Tories (conservatives) attacked his government for "spin". So he stopped "spinning" or "lying" and he lost the next election because people want to be lied to.
However freedom of speech is about making sure people grow up respecting it. Trump is trying to change this.
Is antifa even a group? Seems to be just a label for many different groups that have a similar agenda. Some might be terrorists, others aren't. But what Trump's done is basically trying to make antifa as big and wide reaching as possible. Making it synonymous with "Democrat"
Trump doesn't personally revoke visas. Who said he did? HOWEVER it's his presidency and his policies and his way of doing things that is revoking visa for almost no reason.
So, you brought up Hitler, for some reason, and while we're talking about Trump eroding freedoms in the US, you think because he was part of a peace deal (which may not even work) that this means he's not eroding freedoms in the US? How are the two even connected? Bemusing.

Maga and the GOP had enough votes to win a tiny sliver of a majority in the 2025 election so I would not suggest that the protest shows they are unpopular. It does suggest that the people Trump is oppressing through targeted illegal acts of the executive office will be pretty mobilized in 2026 which in a narrow election makes all the difference.

Listen dude. The GOP LOST VOTES in the house. They didnt pick up. They have the SMALLEST majority in 90 years which is why they cant pass anything and are Executive Order abusing their way through the term.
