Will Lebanon Disappear in 2014

As far back as the early 1950s Israel was making incursions into Lebanon to steal topsoil and shooting Lebanese farmers who protested.

And the rivers of Lebanon have always been a problem for the Israelis.
Israel's latest invasion of Lebanon occurred three years after the US assault on Iraq, and was probably intended to occupy southern Lebanon as far as the Litani river. Hezbollah gave the IDF its worse ass whipping to date, and the plan for the New Middle East moved on the Libya. Now, we're back to fragmenting Syria and Lebanon as Iraq dissolves into three separate sub-states.

Soon the world will be presented with a new state in the New Middle East: "Free" Kurdistan, garrisoned by NATO troops with Israel and Turkey protecting its southern and northern borders.

An "arc of instability" will stretch from the eastern Mediterranean to the Caspian sea; arms merchants and oil companies will reap extravagant profits before reaping the whirlwind.

The oil majors won't risk the development of oil infrastructure in Kurdistan unless there is peace and stability.

"Hezbollah was responsible for numerous serious violations of the laws of war during its conflict with Israel. Its fighters indiscriminately fired thousands of rockets into Israel, killing 43 Israeli civilians (as well as 12 Israeli soldiers), which is documented in a separate Human Rights Watch report, Civilians under Assault.[71]

"Hezbollah also at times endangered Lebanese civilians by failing to take all feasible precautions to avoid firing rockets from populated areas, mixing with the Lebanese civilian population, and storing weapons and ammunition in populated areas.

"Hezbollah fighters fired rockets on an almost daily basis from the close proximity of UN observer posts in southern Lebanon, an act of shielding, at least in part, that endangered UNIFIL troops by drawing retaliatory Israeli fire on the nearby UN positions.

"Each of these violations is detailed below.Human Rights Watch did not find evidence, however, that the deployment of Hezbollah forces in Lebanon routinely or widely violated the laws of war, as repeatedly alleged by Israel.

"We did not find, for example, that Hezbollah routinely located its rockets inside or near civilian homes.

"Rather, we found strong evidence that Hezbollah had stored most of its rockets in bunkers and weapon storage facilities located in uninhabited fields and valleys.

"Similarly, while we found that Hezbollah fighters launched rockets from villages on some occasions, and may have committed shielding, a war crime, when it purposefully and repeatedly fired rockets from the vicinity of UN observer posts with the possible intent of deterring Israeli counterfire, we did not find evidence that Hezbollah otherwise fired its rockets from populated areas.

"The available evidence indicates that in the vast majority of cases Hezbollah fighters left populated civilian areas as soon as the fighting started and fired the majority of their rockets from pre-prepared positions in largely unpopulated valleys and fields outside villages.

"Israeli officials have made the serious allegation that Hezbollah routinely used 'human shields' to immunize its forces from attack and thus bears responsibility for the high civilian toll in Lebanon.

"Apart from its position near UN personnel, Human Rights Watch found only a handful of instances of possible shielding behind civilians, but nothing to suggest there was widespread commission of this humanitarian law violation or any Hezbollah policy encouraging such practices.

"These relatively few cases do not begin to account for the Lebanese civilians who died under Israeli attacks.

Ummm, george. Lebanese civilians died because your heroes, the Islamic terrorists in Hizbollocks, initiated a war against Israel.

What part of Islamic terrorists in Hizbollocks, initiated a war against Israel are you finding difficult to understand?
The same part you never quite grasp.
There would be no need for Hezbollah or Hamas today if 650,000 Jews hadn't driven hundreds of thousands of Palestinians into Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt in 1948.

Then why are they embroiled in civil wars all across the M.E. And you have never shown any proof that it was the Jews that drove the muslim freeloaders out of Israel.

Those are pretty desperate and conspiracy theory addled claims. Lebanon suffering 1,200 dead and billions of dollars in property damage is hardly reflective of Israel getting "whipped".

I'm afraid your "arc of instability" is yet another conspiracy theory you found as part of scouring the more notorious of the web tabloids.

Yet another false claim. Your rabid Joooooo hatreds makes you a poor candidate for making rational assessments.

Hamas and Hizzbollocks represent competing subdivisions of a fascist and totalitarian ideology.

You're a bit slow on the uptake so I'm happy to step in and lend an assist. The war currently raging in Syria is a continuation of the 1,400 year old blood feud between two rival tribes of islamist ideology.

Hizzbollocks is the proxy of Iran. Iranians are not Arabs. The Iranian mullocrats are, however, among the most Jew haten'ist Dark Agers on the planet. Their proxy killers in Lebanon, ie:, hizzbollocks, are armed and equipped for Jew killing in accord with the hate and war manual authored by Mo' (swish).

Really, george, you should get a better understanding of islamist ideology before you make such silly comments.

You can of course give a link to a reliable and unbiased source for your allegations, or is this what they tell you to say at the mosque when you attend on a Friday.

Your prose is positively pathetic.
Why are you wasting bandwidth?
Hasbara much?

Why are you with your blood libels and Islamic lies

My apologies. The internet connection was timing out and I missed a closing quote.

The Israelis have coveted the Litani since the first Zionist Congress at the turn of the century.. There have been numerous incidents over the Hasbani and Wazzani Rivers in Lebanon over the years.

I am really surprised that you are apparently completely unaware of what has been a recurring issue and well known since the 1950s.

 The Arab version of "ass-whipping":
The 2006 Lebanon War ... was a 34-day military conflict in Lebanon, northern Israel and the Golan Heights. The principal parties were Hezbollah paramilitary forces and the Israeli military...
The conflict was precipitated by Zar'it-Shtula incident, On July 12, 2006, militants from the group Hezbollah fired rockets at Israeli border towns as a diversion for an anti-tank missile attack on two armored Humvees patrolling the Israeli side of the border fence...
The conflict is believed to have killed at least 1,191–1,300 Lebanese people, and 165 Israelis. It severely damaged Lebanese civil infrastructure, and displaced approximately one million Lebanese and 300,000–500,000 Israelis.

Since arms sales and oil sales are the two biggest money makers on the planet, I'm guessing the idea is "stability" without any peace. Sunni and Sh'ia Slaves will continue being funded by rich Persians and Arabs, and will endeavor to kill as many of the "other"as possible.

Should the sectarian clashes get out of hand, NATO and Israel will deal out the punishment; it's even possible Israel will become a NATO state when the New Middle East come forth.

"This growing violence culminated in Israel's ruthless 1947-49 'War of Independence,'in which at least 750,000 Palestinian men, women, and children were expelled from their homes by numerically superior Israeli forces – half before any Arab armies joined the war.

"This massive humanitarian disaster is known as ‘The Catastrophe,’ al Nakba in Arabic."

Arabs are embroiled in civil war because the arms and oil merchants in the US and UK find it profitable.

How does Sunni v Sh'ia violence in Iraq, Libya, and Syria today compare with ten years ago?

How many are still there?

None----the Israel action was a response to the filth of hezbollah and its
murder of Israelis-----REMEMBER? kinda silly to blame Israel for the
implantation of IRANIAN TRANED AND FUNDED AND ARMED dogs on
the northern border DEDICATED TO THE DESTRUCTION OF ISRAEL----
armed with HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF BABY BRAIN SMASHING NAIL
BOMBS with which NUS KHARAH ALLA----openly stated were there to
smash the brains out of every jewish child in Israel ---------and then
the poor slob cried "if I had known how they would respond---I would
never have mutilated their men to death in the obscene manner so pleasing
to isa/alla and started that SATURATION BOMBING OF HAIFA

The Israeli action was an attempt to occupy southern Lebanon as far as the Litani river and wait for the UN ceasefire. Hezbollah kicked every Jew-butt out of Lebanon, and the NATO campaign for a New Middle East moved to Libya.

Seven Muslim countries slated for regime change within weeks of 911:
Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Syria, Sudan, Somalia, and Iran.
Jews dropped the ball in 2006, but the game hasn't changed.

Say-----let me explain-----the meccaists NEVER ATTACK----they merely DEFEND---
in order to justify their filth in 2006----THEY HAD TO DO IT TO PROTECT
THE LITANI -------get it? way back------some 1400 years ago-----
the rapist pig of mecca was FORCED to attack Yathrib----MURDER, RAPE,
PILLAGE AND ENSLAVE------and then OWN THE CITY-----why?-----because
a small city of unarmed jewish merchants who had a history in that city of at least
1000 years (probably more_ did not love him. He has to DEFEND his
"lovability"

How many Jews made it to the Litani in 2006?
How many are still there?

The Jews didn't want the Litani.
Some (greedy) Jews did (and still do).

"Israel has considered diverting the Litani southward, first proposed in 1905 because it seemed 'the waters of the Jordan basin would be insufficient for the future needs of Palestine.'(14)

"The Litani, because of its water, was suggested to become part of the 'national Jewish entity' in 1919 but this was rejected by the League of Nations, and the Litani became part of Lebanon.(15)

"There were also prestatehood Jewish interests in the Litani. David Ben-Gurion, Israel's first prime minister, suggested the inclusion of the Litani in the Jewish state.

"The 1941 international commission to whom this was suggested recommended seven-eighths of the Litani be 'leased to Israel.'(16)

"Ben-Gurion and Moshe Dayan advocated Israeli occupation of southern Lebanon and the Litani."
