Will Greta Thunberg go the way of so many other child stars?

CO2 decreased because temperature decreased.
You seem to be wrong again.

50 million years ago India collided with China.
This created the Himalayas and the Himalayan plateau which resulted in rock weathering. That takes CO2 out of the atmosphere Very Slowly.

Less CO2, less greenhouse effect, the planet got cooler. Those slow processes explain how we got here but not what is going on today which is lots faster. The heating is fighting with the ice, creating lots of turbulence. Ultimately the ice has to lose unless we can stop the GHGs. We are on our way to 500 ppm.

I just showed you the CO2 and temperature record. Do you have a different one than this?

So CO2 wasn't determined by the ocean absorbing or releasing CO2 depending on if it got colder or warmer?

He starts talking about what has been happening since 50 million years ago at the 15 minute point. If it is beyond your comprehension so be it.

Does he say past CO2 levels weren't determined by how much CO2 the ocean released or absorbed depending upon the planet's temperature? This isn't a controversial statement.
