There are reports of sexual assault on seniors in those places, neglect where they are left in those beds and assaults. Sometimes they are short-staffed and seniors fall trying to leave the bed to make it to the bathroom. They have no time to spend any human care with them. It's much more than trimming nails. You are always so negative and sarcastic back on ignore you go. Never serious.

Apparently these places are suffering the effects of inflation after getting hit hard with Covid-19 pandemic fallout. 80% of residents sick and skilled nurses and staff failing to return to work. Then unable to hire staff at the same wages as budgets will allow from seniors unable to pay more and Medicare not keeping pace with inflation. Its a total mess being old and alone.

All citizen-facing professions are suffering. Health care, aging care, teachers. We are a coarse and ungrateful people generally, no one wants to work with us.

Care of the elderly has largely fallen to immigrants who band together in the workplace. They protect one another against the outsider. The outsider is anyone outside of their ethnicity, especially Americans.

The elderly present problems of their own. They can be abusive, obstinate and combative. Patience runs thin when caring for the elderly. Two hour shifts will keep that Patience from running out and stop the facility from becoming an armed camp.

Be careful. "Murica!" gets offended when you point this out. I've been noting this for years, having travelled all over the world. Americans are rude, crass, ungrateful people. We're not the only ones out there (Brits are just as bad), but you'll find most other people more welcoming and easier to get along with.
