You seem to be wrong again.CO2 decreased because temperature decreased.
50 million years ago India collided with China.
This created the Himalayas and the Himalayan plateau which resulted in rock weathering. That takes CO2 out of the atmosphere Very Slowly.
Less CO2, less greenhouse effect, the planet got cooler. Those slow processes explain how we got here but not what is going on today which is lots faster. The heating is fighting with the ice, creating lots of turbulence. Ultimately the ice has to lose unless we can stop the GHGs. We are on our way to 500 ppm.
