unfortunately barry gets one of these....*......Roger Maris doesn’t hold the HR record, Barry Bonds does at 73. We’ll see if judge can get on a historic tear and get within anywhere near the record

If Joe plays two years and leaves after a career ending injury and Stan plays 8 years without injury before getting canned, they averaged 5 years. The reasons for that are not the point.and yet in that story you showed injury was not mentioned......just the avg length of time they played....
90 percent or better of those talked about did not have what it takes to get off the bench and were gone.....If Joe plays two years and leaves after a career ending injury and Stan plays 8 years without injury before getting canned, they averaged 5 years. The reasons for that are not the point.
Maybe. Odd that they made it that far, though. In any case, your point has little to do with the stat. Average length of career is still relatively brief. And nobody is guaranteed tomorrow. So from the player’s perspective, it makes sense to earn as much as you can as often as you can.90 percent or better of those talked about did not have what it takes to get off the bench and were gone.....
ok but at the same time you have to prove yourself too......if you are on the bench for 3 to 5 years you may never get those millions...but even then bench sitters make pretty good money....some dam good....Maybe. No doubt. But if you make the league minimum for a 3 years and then you’re canned, your high skill productive years are over. At that point, baseball is usually no longer your bread and butter.ok but at the same time you have to prove yourself too......if you are on the bench for 3 to 5 years you may never get those millions...but even then bench sitters make pretty good money....some dam good....
Bonds cheated.Roger Maris doesn’t hold the HR record, Barry Bonds does at 73. We’ll see if judge can get on a historic tear and get within anywhere near the record
judge has made 39 million dollars over the last 7 years ....if he hasnt padded his nest with that money then i dont know what to say....No doubt. Judge is a phenom. But if he gets a bad injury in a couple of years, ending his pro ball career, he sure will hope to have padded his nest while he could.
Good. And I hope he makes a shit ton more. There is this year almost no offensive category that he personally doesn’t hold the number one spot in. He also has a gun for an arm and plays his outfield positions very well.judge has made 39 million dollars over the last 7 years ....if he hasnt padded his nest with that money then i dont know what to say....
Thats fine, but he still holds the recordunfortunately barry gets one of these....*......
barry and his fellow juicers ruined a lot about baseball.....especially the home run record.....Thats fine, but he still holds the record
I’d say they largely saved baseball and gave its highest popularity in history..barry and his fellow juicers ruined a lot about baseball.....especially the home run record.....
did they?.....after it was found what they did it went down and it is still down.....people dont like frauds....I’d say they largely saved baseball and gave its highest popularity in history..
People like excitement, which is what McGwire, Sosa, Bonds etc provided.did they?.....after it was found what they did it went down and it is still down.....people dont like frauds....
because they were cheating.....when people found out what happened?...thats my point....at least players like Trout,Pujols and Judge are real players....People like excitement, which is what McGwire, Sosa, Bonds etc provided.
Yes, once they all left, baseball has fallen. That’s my exact point
when you avg 30 homers a year before the roids and 40 after you take them says enough.....It will never be known how many players benefited from PED's. Pirates had a player named, Brian GIles, whose exploits we enjoyed, but it was quite likely that his power was artificially enhanced. Brady Anderson. Many others. You still have to have talent to hit/throw the fokking ball.
