Why Would We Go to War with Iran?

We also installed Manuel Noriega, Augusto Pinochet, Ferdinand Marcos, Diem.

Not a very good track record.

The Bushies were going to install Ahmed Chalabi in Iraq. He even sat next to Laura Bush when Bush gave his imfamous “axis of evil” speech.

Chalabi and his operatives were the ones who pulled down the Sadaam statue in a staged for TV moment.

Then, the Americans belatedly learned that their man was telling Tehran everything the US was doing.

That didnt answer my question. Dont dodge.

I didn’t dodge.

You were clearly trying to dismiss the fact.

If you want to know why we installed Sadaam, read the article, or do a little research.

You might learn so,ething.

I’ll give you a one word hint: oil.

We didnt install the leader of Iraq. We never would have chosen Saddam if we had a choice.

Germany, Japan, and Iraq turned out awesome after regime change!!!
Iraq turned out awesome? Didn't ISIL capture almost all of it in like a week? Isn't it effectively split in several mini countries, one of which is run by Iran via Sunni militias?

Abdul Rashid is the current leader of Iraq. It is not broken into pieces. :cuckoo:

I don’t suppose your were around on 9/11.

Please don't forget about our American G.I.s, diplomatic personnel and travelers overseas all of whom are vulnerable targets.

America is once again sacrificing for a criminal Zionist government and the wars it provokes.

Thanks,

Yeah? When have you seen that happen? When have they been targetted? Going to muslim nations is always dangerous.

Not only have I studied Middle Eastern history for 65+ years, I walked and hitch hiked around the Islamic Middle East by myself for 10 - 11 months.

I had only a small pack, a knife, sleeping bag and sort of tarpaulin for protection during sand storms.

Yes, I was frequently "kidnapped" by Muslim drivers in ornately decorated, old vehicles and taken to remote villages where I was treated as a very curious celebrity.
My Muslim hosts along the way insisted on treating me to tea, meals, a tour of the ancient ruins and, eventually shelter for the night.

After a few days, I was given water, fruit, bread etc and taken to the nearest road to move along.

I went for months at a time without speaking either English, German or French and most people had never seen a red bearded Westerner in worn, old clothes.

Many times, I would sit for hours trying to communicate with my Muslim host and his friends in the town square or market but I experienced absolutely no hostility because I was an American Episcopalian.

After spending time in Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria, and Lebanon I intended to go south to Israel Egypt etc. but the '73 War broke out while I was living in and around Palestinian refugee camps in Southern Lebanon.

For a few years, I wrote to a couple of men who had been such generous and kind hosts to me but lost track of them after the Iraq War.

My point is that most of what you have been deceived into believing by pro Israel MSM is little more than fictitious Hollywood rubbish.

Ohhh, i thought every single person who ever went to the middle east was instantly murdered. Your experience sure set me straight. :cuckoo:

Liberator from being alive maybe. When it comes to forcing democracy the list of failures is as long as Trump’s combover. Iranian people don’t deserve an authoritarian government or being bombed to the stone ages .

Some people are just so far detached from reality that it really makes no sense to ever engage them in any type of conversation. And yes, this happens on the left and the right, and quite often. It seems no one ever thinks for themselves and just follows group think.
