Why would anyone want to encourage ignorant, unwise people to vote?

What kind of a nation can we have when the ignorant and unwise outnumber the intelligent and wise?
Do companies want their most ignorant sitting on their boards and calling the shots?
Because the Constitution sez so. Otherwise, we're knocking on the door of dictorship with the corrupt and well-paid-for lies the MSM rubber stamps.

Because, if anyone actually though about it ... no one would vote at all.

That everyone gets a vote even the lesser among us is what makes the USA great! Otherwise we would be a monarchy with a bunch of prissy stupid fuck elites with 2-3 college indoctrination degrees calling the shots.

I was talking to a young guy at work a couple of months ago. And he admitted that he paid no attention to issues and didn't vote.

I said that's fine.

I also asked him, what did he think about people that would encourage him to vote, even after he admits that he is "ignorant".

He looked thoughtful.

Who's going to determine who is and isn't "wise and intelligent"?

You?

The collection of Q Kooks you hang out with?

Massive get out the vote campaigns are by their very nature, aimed at people who are not motivated to learn about the issues.

Motivated people were planning to vote anyways.
