Look it up, yourself. I have written many times about support for the Constitution and rule of law. Just because the far right is against it, does not mean it is not a conservative value. I have written in support of many 2nd, amendment positions, including concealed carry permits nationwide. Just because some extremist would like to have totally unfettered rights to have, keep, carry anything they can think of and do not think background checks is a good idea or infringes on their rights, does not make in a conservative position. I have spoken out against the failure of President Biden's fiasco at the border. I have written in support of Israel's self-defense and, including sale of air refuel capability, a position agreed to in the waning days of the trump administration. I supported on here the drone strikes against the asshole Iranian General that was running around Iraq (probably guiding attack against our embassy and other friendly targets.
Basically, you just don't like it that I recognized trump for what he was, and not support (at least temporarily) the people that voted him out and refused to give up the capital, when it was under attack by you guy. Nothing much conservative about trump follower positions, anymore. Conservatives used to be level-headed, patriotic and loyal the constitution, not so much anymore, if those position won't get them what they want. Conservatism hasn't changed, just the actions and beliefs of those of trumpers that still want to use the once proud and productive conservatives label, but no longer follow it's obligations or honor their oath. I still follow and abide by mine.

You didn't ask Independents. I cannot speak for the Democrats. I just found your premise mildly amusing and wondered whether you had covered the most basic way of gathering the answer to your question. Where did you meet one, toiletry section at Walmart, or a BLM rally perhaps?

What is really going on?

The answer to that is simple. The Democrats/Leftists/Socialists, are trying to build a coalition between groups who's preferred outcomes is totally counter productive to the other groups in the coalition. In other words-------->bring in a bunch of illegals, and the poor black and every other poor community suffers terribly. But they need that coalition to win.

So what to do if you are the Leftists?

Oh heck, that is easy, and once you hear it, you will instantly see it in their politics.

The Leftists MUST make the alternative to the Democrats WORSE than voting to screw yourself, so you will vote for them. Ergo, Republicans are racist, Trump is racist, nobody likes brown people but the Left, they shoot you on the streets because of your color, you are all homophobic, and the list goes on and on, covering all their splinter groups. In essence, they have to create a fantasy REAL enough to these groups, to make it WORSE to vote for the GOP.

Why do any of you think that 99% of paid Leftist voters on this board or talking heads on television, can NOT go through a post, or a segment on TV, without throwing in race/homophobia/white priv, etc? Do you think that all that garbage is to change YOUR mind?

It isn't! It is to keep reminding all the moderate Democrats of all colors that view the posts, or listen to the pieces on TV, why they have to hold the line, lol. They know, that YOU know their whole narrative is poppycock, but they also know the other side of the aisle has been ingrained with this nonsense for so long, that it gives them pause if they are even considering going off the Leftist plantation.

In closing, let me say that some of us believe our stance is tough, and it is; but it is not the toughest. The toughest stance in this country are from Black people, poor people, and Hispanic people, who realize that the Left has sold them a false bill of goods. As soon as they speak out, they are called Uncle Toms, racist supporters, and you know the rest. The Left does EVERYTHING it can to brow beat these people back on to the Leftist plantation, because if you allow one of them to escape successfully and speak about their experience after freedom of political choice, more will follow, and they can NOT have that. Derogatory remarks from the Left about these people, is the new modern day plantation whip! And notice if you will, it is the LEFT still wielding them.

We need to, at the very least, verbally support these people! They will not come alone if they get support, and that is the fastest way to collapse the Socialists. We are the big tent! And the bigger tent we grow, the faster we won't have to put up with radicals in the Democratic party, because the moderates there, will be forced to remove them instead of kissing their a**ess!
