Yeah, it’s America for us today… record homelessness in this country. People can’t afford a home, trying to get to work you’re walking around homeless people and drug dealers and drug addicts. Was not like this in the 50s or even the 1990s as Carlson points out.

It’s time to get real and bring back American greatness… bring back with this country used to be. And help out people struggling in this country.

A real Marxist leadership would be in favor of housing the homeless, as Utah did for over seven years until 2018, when Republican politicians started complaining, leading to the defunding of the "Housing First" government program. There's now a horrible situation with homelessness in Salt Lake City and throughout the state of Utah, which was effectively addressed by the Housing First Program. Leftists or socialists/communists, eliminate homelessness.

Socialists are in favor of using the authority of government to detain and force through adjudication, drug addicts (especially homeless junkies) into rehab treatment and mental wards, if that's what's required to avoid them turning the government housing that is provided to them into crack houses.
