Why we need to end the Death Penalty

I still crack up like a kid when Lefty Mutants cannot spot obvious banter and mickey taking .

I even signalled it with the Two Trumpets . Have a look Mrs Bull Shit Dog

I've read your posts. Like a kid describes most things you write.

It comes down to reasonable doubt

There is abundant reasonable doubt in this case

Reasonable doubt, not throw everything against the wall and see what sticks.

Meanwhile in each of these cases there is still a dead person and mourning people who lost the dead person, and these anti-DP fanatics don't give a fuck about them.

That's a dodge. If he's innocent he's innocent, if not they are pretending he is to get the DP off the table, nothing more.
Who is pretending?

Doctors who don’t agree with the original diagnosis?
The Detective who initially investigated?
Texas Legislators who are calling for a new trial?

Actually, I don't like DNA. I don't trust cops or the justice system. They can say "it came back it's your DNA" but who knows if that's true. Maybe they "know" you did it so they say it's your DNA.

I've never heard of a defense attorney asking for the blood so they can have it independently tested and verified. It seems like 12 sheep just accept what they are told.

Like if Stormy had Trump's DNA. Would you believe it?

Yes, I believe in science.

They are sold a story, and they feel bad and they get pressured into trying to save the guy's life.

"Look how good of a guy he was in Prison, we just want him to live, he will never get out, we promise"

meanwhile they don't argue for mitigating circumstances, they argue for innocence.

They don't care if he did it or not, all they care about is getting rid of the death penalty.

meanwhile the baby still rots underground

They are arguing for a new trial considering new evidence

What do you have to lose?

Don't know much about this case. The guy might be a monster who intended to kill the baby. Doesn't matter. We have killed innocent people in the past, and it's clear that we will again in the future. Lock them up forever if you think it is justified, but we don't need to kill more innocent people.
Prison, especially solitary, can be seen as inhumane. Better to get rid of them in the most cost effective way.

30 years later?

Of course they will try to exclude any evidence lost over time or testimony from people dead.

What's the difference between executing someone innocent after 25 years and them dying in Prison after 50?
As long as they are alive it's possible that new, unknown information might gain their freedom. If they are dead, they are already dead. On the purely practical side, it's cheaper to lock them up forever than to execute them.

Texas has the most executions since the death penalty was reinstated in 1976, with 598 as of August 2024. Oklahoma has the second-highest number of executions with 125.
That is not evidence that >> "They enjoy executing and will not miss a chance to kill someone."

Numbers don’t lie
They also don't say what you said they say. There could be various other reasons why the numbers are what they are. Like better and more law enforcement, and prosecutors doing their jobs appropriately.
