They are all leaping in with both feet—all the usual suspects. Elon Musk gave Matt Taibbi access to internal Twitter documents, promising a big reveal about how the company handled the Trump campaign’s planned October surprise. Though it actually unearthed nothing of interest—then-candidate Biden (he was not in government at the time) requested that Twitter not circulate nude photos of his disturbed son, and the company complied—it unleashed a festival of I-told-you-sos from the right.

So what is this really about? Consider the timing.

For seven years, the right has been explaining, excusing, avoiding, and eventually cheering the most morally depraved figure in American politics. That takes a toll on the psyche. You can tell yourself that the other side is worse. Or you can tell yourself that the critics are unhinged, suffering from “Trump derangement syndrome” whereas you are a man of the world who knows nobody’s perfect. But then Trump will do what he always does—he’ll make a fool of you. You denied that Trump purposely broke the law when he took highly classified documents to Mar-A-Lago and obstructed every effort to retrieve them. And then what does Trump do? He admits taking them! You scoff at the critics who’ve compared Trump with Nazis. And then what does he do? He has dinner with Nazis! (And fails to condemn them even after the fact.) You despised people who claimed Trump was a threat to the Constitution, and then Trump explicitly calls for “terminating” the Constitution in order to put himself back in the Oval Office.

Hunter Biden seems to be corrupt. He traded on his father’s name. He has abused drugs and engaged in other unsavory practices. He’s a mess. But there is nothing relevant to public policy or civic virtue here. President Biden is hardly the first president to have troubled family members. But Joe Biden didn’t hire Hunter at the White House, and if there is any evidence of the president using official influence on Hunter’s behalf, we haven’t seen it. The Department of Justice under President Trump opened an investigation into Hunter Biden. President Biden has left it alone. It’s ongoing.

The right has a deep psychological need for the Hunter Biden story. They desperately want Joe Biden to be corrupt
and for the whole family to be, in Stefanik’s words, “a crime family” because they have provided succor and support to someone who has encouraged political violence since his early rallies in 2015, has stoked hatred of minorities through lies, has used his office for personal gain in the most flagrant fashion, has surrounded himself with criminals and con men, has committed human rights violations against would-be immigrants by separating children from their parents, has pardoned war criminals, has cost the lives of tens of thousands of COVID patients by discounting the virus and peddling quack cures, has revived racism in public discourse, and attempted a violent coup d’etat.

Even if everything they’re alleging about Joe Biden were true; even if he did pull strings to help his son and even profited unjustly thereby, it still wouldn’t amount to a fraction of what Trump did. And it still won’t wash out the “damn’d spot.”

Hunter is a pornographic sideshow.....He's the one that you jealous degenerate freaks are focused on.

The main event is your traitorous sellout "president", who is 100% property of Xi Jinping.

No, Musk Didn't Tweet That the Dems Paid Jack Dorsey to Block Anti-Biden Info

The grammar and typos alone might have given this tweet away as fake.

Claim:
Twitter owner Elon Musk tweeted that Democrats paid former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey "millions of dollars" to block negative information about the Bidens in 2020.

Why does the Left need to protect Hunter Biden?

Being the degenerate sexual deviants that they are, Republicans desperately want to see Hunter's dick pics.
I have no interest in Hunter Biden‘s sexual escapades or his addiction to drugs. I am worried about having a President who is owned by the foreign nations he sold his influence to.

I want to see an impartial investigation of the allegations launched but I fear if there is one it will be a whitewash.

Where was this concern over foreign influence when chunks of the Trump Administration were lying about their ties to Russia?

Was there actual ties to Russia or was the liberal media lying?

If “chucks” of the Trump administration was doing what you are saying, explain why there are not a large number of indictments. Surely two years after Trump left office there should be enough evidence to start proceedings

Yes, there were actual ties. People were arrested and indicted over it.

If you don't know this, then you're not an honest broker, and simply a hyper-partisan hack.

You could replace Biden with Trump and Right with left and nothing would change about this opinion piece. You loons are accusing Trump, Republicans and Conservatives of the exact same shit that the left has been doing. As far as I'm concerned Democrats and Republicans are the same damn thing.

I'm a Conservative and have zero fucks to give on the Biden's. If Republicans want to take the Senate and Presidency they will do something other than endless committees and investigation.

As we can see conservatives are going to keep propagating the Hunter Biden lie.

It’s who conservatives are, utterly dishonest and liars.

Sure there were some indictments, prosecutions and even convictions but not as many as you asserted when you stated ‘chunks.” of the Trump administration. Plus most didn’t get long prison sentences. A large number were Russians who will never stand trial. Trump may have been impeached twice, but the evidence wasn’t so overwhelming that the Senate Republicans were forced to vote to remove Trump from office.

We are not talking Watergate here. Not by any means.

A few examples: …

***snip***

On Sept. 7, George Papadopoulos, a former campaign adviser to Trump, was sentenced to 14 days in prison. He had pleaded guilty in October to lying to FBI agents about the timing and significance of his contacts, including a professor who told him the Russians had “dirt” on Trump’s Democratic presidential rival, Hillary Clinton.

***snip***

** Twelve Russian intelligence officers were indicted by a federal grand jury on July 13, accused of hacking Democratic Party computer networks in 2016, in the most detailed U.S. accusation yet that Moscow meddled in the presidential election to help Trump. The Russian government has repeatedly denied meddling in the election.

** Thirteen Russians and three Russian entities were indicted in Mueller’s investigation in February, accused of tampering in the 2016 election to support Trump.

****************

Lots of those accused agreed to cooperate with investigators but even though they did, Trump was never criminally indicted for anything.

Let’s have an investigation by investigators who are totally impartial on the Biden administration. It’s my bet they will find plenty of evidence for malfeasance and influence peddling in the Biden administration and by Joe Biden himself. and it will be enough to impeach Joe Biden and remove him from office before 2024 — even though Democrats control the Senate.

Finally the chances the Trump will ever spend a day behind bars are slim at best.

I've always noticed that leftists adopt symbols and labels that make them appear to be something they're not, know what I mean Magnus? Whether it's something intellectual, courageous or what have you.

If a leftists says it's over here it's really over there or non-existent.

Classic Magnus. You've suffered from TDS for well over 5 years now, yet you know, we need stuff while you need a psychiatrist.
