Joe Biden didn't just pardon Hunter for the gun charges and tax evasion...he pardoned Hunter from all federal charges backdated to 2014...long before the charges he's been convicted of...but conveniently coincident with the beginning of Hunter's work in Ukraine...

One of those "tell me you're corrupt without telling me you're corrupt" scenarios.

So...does Biden pardon himself on the way out the door...or does he take his chances?

I say he has to pardon himself. If there is proof of corruption in Ukraine that Zelensky is privy to...or worse...is using as blackmail against Biden...there is a zero percent chance he won't use the existence of that same information to leverage some continuing aid from President Trump.

As an aside...while writing this post I thought surely if this is true Biden understood the danger if he lost.

He was so far underwater in the polls that a 400 electoral lost was projected.

The assassination attempt on Trump where the gaps in his protection couldn't be explained...July 13th.

Biden drops out of the race July 21st.

Just sayin'...

The GOP could not find it within themselves to even try to impeach Joe, so why would they go after him later on?

Now Trump, Trump is a punching bag that will be impeached and someone they go after when he leaves office with some republicans jumping on board like Cheney. But Joe is apart of the good old boys club Hillary was apart of.

"Pardoning" in this way is the stuff of monarchies. There is no need or reason for this in a democratic system.

You have to understand, when democrats champion democracy, they are only championing a democracy run by democrats.

All other political parties are fascist.

What is understood is that the duopoly has conducted a gradual, steady coup d'état and taken over the US government in the name of special interests. The government and the people now exist to support and continue this reign. Voters have the Constitutional means to overthrow this without violence, but are too lazy or, (if we are more unforgiving) too stupid to avail themselves of these means.

Chances are that Hunter would tell on himself and everyone....which Biden had to fix by keeping him from being incarcerated. (Kinda weak minded that way...drugs and sex addiction do that to people)

But no worries....Hunter can't stop being afoul of the Law for very long (cocaine in the White House)

Hunter will commit fresh new crimes soon enough and be incarcerated for those crimes (if anyone cares to arrest him)

I'd dare say the man has cocaine in his pockets today that he can be arrested for unless he has been locked away and is undergoing withdrawal.

John Dean (yeah the Watergate guy) recently suggested that President Biden blanket pardon every single person on Trump's revenge list before he leaves office. That would be a hoot!
