I don't believe it has been confirmed. This is based on satellite intel, and rumored social media posts in Ukraine, which are notoriously open to interpretation & disinformation.

I remember very early in the war, the west claimed Russia slaughtered dozens of civilians around some village near Kiev based on the same sort of intel.

It all turned out to be B.S. when it was thoroughly investigated. But of course, the original story set the narrative, and the facts were never widely reported.
