Why isn't monetary and economic issues the most important issue in politics? It'

Social justice issues have moved the economy to the backseat. Today's younger generation is behind this change.
And that fallacy does dominate. When you can’t or don’t want to deal with fact issues, make up some feelings issues that you wish could be resolved

It's cherry picked because you can't blame just the president. Many are involved.

I blame every president who signed all those spending bills. When they sign them, then it's all on them. Regardless of what was being funded or how much, the president who signed the spending bill into law is the only one left to blame.

Are you blaming Trump for signing a large spending bill which Americans needed during the pandemic? In other words, are you saying that we shouldn't have helped Americans during the pandemic?

It's just my opinion, but money is the most important issue in this country right now. The debt, inflation, and how it affects all of us. We can't hardly go one day without the governments actions in the last 5 decades affecting at least one part of our day. Especially on grocery day or bill paying day(s).
It affects our immigration policies, foreign policy, almost all domestic policies and others.

But through the media and social media, people get all wrapped up tranny issues, religious, tweets about dumb stuff.

It's no conspiracy that if the dollar crashes, or a BRICS currency comes about, the US economy will become something like Mexico's. So I'm wondering, why isn't the USD value, the economy and monetary policy the most important issue in todays politics.

The USD value, the economy, the monetary policy is why we voted trump into office

The USD value, the economy, the monetary policy is why we voted trump into office

Ok, so why would you want him back in office? He reduced the value of the USD. He helped create that 8% inflation increase. And he spent money like a drunken democrat.
In fact it took Obama 8 years to spend what Trump spent in 4. And that's with onset of Obamacare.

I'm not a huge fan of DeSantis. But at least he did all he did in FL, within budget. And had billions left over. So obviously DeSantis is way better at economic and monetary issues than Trump.

Trump brags about being the kind of debt. Says we can never default. We can just print more money.

Then you made a HUGE MISTAKE, if you voted for trump for monetary policy!
your reply is rich and deep, I can see you have studied this greatly and you intellect shine through.

Not, you are an intellect moron.

We made no mistake in voting for Trump, Look what the democrats have given us. Basic food is no longer affordable.

Potatoes have gone from 1.99 for 10lbs to $8 dollars.

Democrats are scum that need to be wiped off the face of the earth

Trump was fought against by Democrats and Republicans alike. Where were you? You did not see the fighting. At the same time Trump had to defend himself against he Democrats and Republicans, he also had to defend himself and his family in the courts. Democrats and Republicans tied Trump's hands. That is fact.

One man reduced the value of the dollar? No, you are about as wrong on that point as wrong gets.

Spending, that would be congress, as well as the Obama administration, through obamacare that Trump by law has to comply with. Of course the budget went up under Trump, it was mandated by Obamacare and policies that Democrats and Republicans fought against repealing.

DeSantis, nothing is more important than Energy. What did DeSantis do in his state to create cheap energy. Nothing. Did DeSantis reopen oil drilling, no. Did DeSantis open new nuclear plants, no. Did DeSantis prevent the closing of old Nuclear plants, no. What did DeSantis do for energy, DeSantis gave florida much more expensive inefficient solar and wind.

I have given you a factual reply. I look forward to you attempting to show how those points are wrong.

The majority of Republican that were fighting Trump were from those who were more fiscally conservative than Trump. As in Trumps first spending bill of $1.4 trillion. Or his version of Obamacare. Or the 1st two debt ceiling increases that Trump wanted.
RINO Ryan was 100% behind Trumpcare. But he couldn't get the few conservatives to join his fight because it was socialism and would've cost the government and the American people way too much money. Even more than Obamacare.
Trump campaigned on saving America so much money. But on day 1 turned into a big spending RINO, like Ryan.

There are more than enough nuclear plants in FL to provide plenty of electricity to all of Florida. There's not need in creating more. DeSantis is pro nuclear power.
And there's simply not enough oil or gas in Florida to mess with it. It's not west Texas, for pete's sakes. FL has an over abundance of dry holes that's been drilled just in the last decade to prove that. And the people of FL simply don't want anyone, including oil companies to go screwing around with their everglades.

BTW, in April of 2020, 7 months before the election, Trump struck a deal with US, Mexican and Saudi oil producers to REDUCE oil production. This initiated the oil bust cycle. By June, US oil companies were laying off record numbers of oil field hands. Drilling almost completely stopped throughout the USA. (remember, this was BEFORE the Trump/Biden election) By the time Biden had stepped into office, the oil companies reserves had diminished. They'd stopped drilling. And were sitting on over 1500 unused drilling permits. And because they'd lowered used up their reserves and weren't drilling any new, the oil futures market kicked in and oil prices started to rise.
ALL of these events that created higher gas prices were initiated by the Trump administration and oil execs when Trump was in office.

So now, I'm thinking that Trump supporters either ignored the goings on in the oil field around months before the elections were held. Or they just didn't know. There was a lot going on at the time, with covid. So I doubt anyone was paying attention. I have family in the oil field. I used to be one myself. So I was paying attention.

DeSantis has done nothing to prevent Nuclear power plants in Florida from shutting down.

Florida imports Natural Gas to produce it's electricity.

Florida is installing solar farms, by the square mile, which why would they do that if you are telling the truth.

Florida has plenty of electricity yet they are installing solar?

The one question most feared by the Biden Administration and they go to almost any length to keep it from being asked is: "Are you better off than you were four years ago?"

Of course no one is. But that's a loaded question. In order to answer it, you have to get into details about the economy and how it actually works. Most folks don't have the knowledge to understand it.
And if Biden were to give an accurate answer, like how Trumps $8 trillion in just 4 years helped to create the 8% inflation increase, people would just claim he's lying or trying to put the blame all on Trump. And that would be the end of it. They wouldn't do any research to find out that Biden was correct. That's too hard for most people.

But it's true. All the money that Biden is spending now, is going to make it worse on the next president. It takes that long for most of it to show up in the economy. Explaining how and why it takes that long, most folks don't have the attention span for it.

LMAO.... DeSantis isn't the chancellor of the state. If the energy companies want to shut down a nuclear power plant in FL, that's their decision. Not DeSantis's.

Florida imports Natural Gas to produce it's electricity.

Because FL doesn't have enough natural gas. And once again, gas/oil isn't state owned in FL.. FFS, it's part of the free market.
Do you seriously want government in control of gas/oil?

How fucking liberal can you be?
Florida is installing solar farms, by the square mile, which why would they do that if you are telling the truth.

Because energy companies want solar farms. The US also imports a shit ton of gas from Canada. And billions of barrels of oil from other countries. Solar panels do help reduce our global dependence on energy. And you have a problem with that?

Why do you hate American energy and technology?

Florida has plenty of electricity yet they are installing solar?

Because the energy companies want to. Again, energy isn't state owned. And shouldn't.

My god, you RINO's are just stupid.

Pretty much all people have the knowledge and experience to answer the question. We all know whether it's harder to pay our bills and make our payments than it used to be. Everybody who goes grocery shopping knows whether their grocery budget buys as many groceries as it used to. We all know when we don't have the money to eat out or go to a movie or take a little vacation we used to be able to do easily. We all know whether we have as much money in our bank account or 401k or whether we get the raises or promotions we used to get.

That is your opinion, which is wrong. In California, the governor wanted to shutdown San Onofre Nuclear Power station, and did. Southern California Edison did not want to shutdown the Nuclear Plant but they were forced to.

Governors have the power to make or break a business. No utility wants to shutdown a Nuclear Power plant, they make way too much money.

Because FL doesn't have enough natural gas. And once again, gas/oil isn't state owned in FL.. FFS, it's part of the free market.
Do you seriously want government in control of gas/oil?
The government completely controls gas and oil. From the bottom of the well to the exhaust at the tailpipe, and even the car that consumes gasoline. The government is in 100% control of gas and oil.

Because energy companies want solar farms. The US also imports a shit ton of gas from Canada. And billions of barrels of oil from other countries. Solar panels do help reduce our global dependence on energy. And you have a problem with that?
Energy companies only want solar farms for that $50,000 dollars per acre subsidy.

Solar panels are inefficient, expensive, part time producers of energy. A huge waste of tax dollars, that is why there is not one private company that builds and installs solar panels without the huge subsidies that government pays for solar.
