Why isn't monetary and economic issues the most important issue in politics? It'

Truer words were never spoken.

Dating back to the fifties and sixties.

Sound familiar?
some would say it goes back 100 yrs to the beginning of the progressive movement,,

its all about baby steps,,

It's just my opinion, but money is the most important issue in this country right now. The debt, inflation, and how it affects all of us. We can't hardly go one day without the governments actions in the last 5 decades affecting at least one part of our day. Especially on grocery day or bill paying day(s).
It affects our immigration policies, foreign policy, almost all domestic policies and others.

But through the media and social media, people get all wrapped up tranny issues, religious, tweets about dumb stuff.

It's no conspiracy that if the dollar crashes, or a BRICS currency comes about, the US economy will become something like Mexico's. So I'm wondering, why isn't the USD value, the economy and monetary policy the most important issue in todays politics.

I agree it should be the number one issue. The price of homes, gas, basic cost of living is through the roof in this country. Now I know you disagree with Mr. Trump. And I wanna make it clear I don’t give all credit to Trump for the fact that we had a better economy during his presidency. But it is fair to give him some credit..

I never gave all the credit to Mr. Trump. It’s safe to say that the American people have worked very hard in our country’s history. There is an issue with wokeness and anti-Americanism with younger generations, and that problem is only exacerbated by Joe Biden, and the far left wing BLM supporter who are instilling anti-American ideals into the youth. Do you see that wasn’t as much of an issue under Mr. Trump I think you can even agree with that.

Another issue is the health and relationships among American people. It’s just as important as our economy. We have record numbers of young Americans, who are single, using a bunch of drugs, watching porn all the time they have no interest in meeting a partner starting a family. That’s a concern.

It was under Reagan that the phrase "deficits don't matter" came into the lexicon.

Ronald Reagan not only increased the debt ceiling 17 times, but managed to triple the national debt. That's a 200% increase. Or a nearly a 15% increase in the debt every year.

Both major political parties, following the very nature of capitalism itself, tend to systematically hide the ugly realities of modern competitive finance capitalism behind lies and distortions, exaggerations, scapegoating and false theoretical constructs.

Human nature makes it easier to blame others for our own weaknesses, and renders the vast majority even of our leaders unable to understand how our extremely complicated economic system actually works. Very few even of those who are in powerful positions understand clearly the main forces at work. Those that do understand rarely are able or willing to swim against the powerful tides of impersonal economic pressures / laws that operate on all of us, be we ordinary workers, professionals, managers or even major capitalists.

Much easier for everyone, especially common people, to just concentrate their energy on trying to improve their own financial position, and if not successful to complain bitterly about all the “dark conspiracies” holding us back.

I proved what you stated was incorrect. But you're not having it. And to counter, you come up with lies.
You power bills aren't going up because of solar. They're going up for a few reasons.
1. The value of the dollar continue to fall. Thanks to big spending politicians like Trump and Biden.
2. Because energy companies overhead is constantly increasing because of higher wages and benefits. It's called "overhead." I have family who works for utility companies. They just sent my son to CDL school. They not only pay for his classes, but also his wages while he's in class. That's overhead. And we all pay for it.
3. Utility companies can charge pretty much what ever TF they want to, because (again) energy isn't state owned.

Utility companies tie into solar and wind grid to help reduce their demand.

Solar does work at night because of battery storage.

BTW, I did happen to notice your dodging of the fact that you seem to prefer the state own our energy production and distribution. Sorry for your bad luck and all. But most Americans support a free market capitalist economy. Unlike you RINO's who only pretend to.

BTW, Oil companies have received trillions in government subsidies in the last few decades. And Biden is going to make sure they keep getting them.

Please define what your chart refers to as "Indirect Subsidies."

You pointed out that green energy companies are being subsidized by the government. And I proved that big oil was too.

The main ingredient in solar panels is sand. We have sand.
You pointed out that the subsidy to oil and gas is a tiny fraction of what is wasted on green energy. You don't have a clue what they refer to as "indirect subsidies".

Where are those solar panels made? The Biden family's cash cow China.

No, I'm not a bleeding heart liberals who cries when someone becomes a billionaire. If they run a very profitable business, then "it's their business, and their money."

But if you wanna discuss what the government doesn't with tax payer money, then this is the thread for you.

How about discussing the fact that the people who create wealth thru their labor are grossly and unfairly underpaid, while worthless trash that makes little real contribution to the creation of wealth hordes the vast majority of the wealth.

No body does real productive work that justifies them becoming a billionaire, or anything close. These people are thieves.
