Who said they would? In fact, nobody wants them to.
You dembots really don’t get it
Why wouldn't we want them to?
I want them to, but obviously it will never happen.

Yes. Stupid of me, too, to expect MAGAts to back up their assertions.
Is that like Elon Musk running NASA. Because he's got the only viable spaceship for the near future, and the only ride to the ISS.I don't know that we should use the word "control", but you are aware however, that a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based CK Hutchison Holdings manages two ports at the canal's entrances, with Chinese firms funding construction of a new bridge over the canal to the tune of over $1 billion, right?

I'd prefer what we had before we gave the ******* thing away in the first place. Another stupid move on our part.
Yes, it requires neutrality. They’ve sold out to ChinaThe Carter treaty
How are they in violation?
Assertions aren't evidence. Unless one is a MAGAt who implies investment equals total control.Posts were already done. You reject them.
I'm not at war with China as you are, even though you won't pick up a rifle.Nope.... Just not a Chinese Communist fan. You?
So what?Currently the Hong Kong company landbridge controlled by the Chinese Communist party controls ports on both ends of the canal.
So what? China does not control the Panama Canal, as was intimated by one of the slack jawed yokels.I don't know that we should use the word "control", but you are aware however, that a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based CK Hutchison Holdings manages two ports at the canal's entrances, with Chinese firms funding construction of a new bridge over the canal to the tune of over $1 billion, right?
Demonstrate it, you unbelievable fuckwit.
Asserting? See, you can’t accept realityAssertions aren't evidence. Unless one is a MAGAt who implies investment equals total control.
Or a slack jawed yokel. But I repeat myself.
Trump was voted in by Americans and even supported by many fiscally minded citizens around the globe because he represented more fiscal restraint/cost cutting a la DOGE, he was going to prevent Americas debt from going off of the cliff, return a global presence of peace through strength to defend key allies such as Taiwan and Japan, defend your border (for which Canada also pays a price as we have fentanyl coming into our country from these same cartels I'm sure) and confronting China so that America remains the Super Power of the world, millions of lives potentially saved.
Now, Mexico I can understand being called out, even the Canal and Greenland as these are key tenets of U.S security. Canada though is receiving more than our fair share of ink due to Trump. Media cares this much about Canada all of a sudden but not 100s of thousands being poisoned by your southern border? Come on maaaan.
If his actions before he takes office is any indication, he has said very little about China and tariffs, but raises the issue with Canada and Mexico and others? Didn't he suggest a 60% tariff on China? They are sending over the precursors to the poisons that have killed countless people in Canada too, that act is responsible for something like 100,000 U.S deaths a year!
Let's hope this isn't a pattern he will maintain after he takes office. Please DJT, stick to your promises. China needs to be confronted about their human right abuses and cheating on trade. All nations can do better but China is by the greatest threat to America and the biggest trade violator.
We'd all like to see peace in the world and we'd all love to see China become a true capitalist nations that supports human rights. This should be where his focus lies, no? To call them out and get them to change and if they do not, than he uses tariffs as a means to equalize the trade abuses.
DJT keep your promises. Canada isn't perfect and we could use some demands to adhere to human rights but we are your ally, for all of our warts.
This is a professionally developed pattern of propaganda speak. It's all too familiar and I see it frequently on many of the major posting boards.Asserting? See, you can’t accept reality
Ah. That was you, wasn't it, implying investment equalled operational control.Asserting? See, you can’t accept reality
