Gobbledygook

The word Gobbledygook is offensive to me because I am Asian. I am offended that Stephen Colbert and President Obama used the word. :(
AI Overview

"Gobbledygook" is generally not considered a racist term; it is an English word coined in 1944 by Texas Congressman Maury Maverick to describe confusing, pompous, or nonsensical bureaucratic jargon, inspired by the noise of a turkey. It means gibberish or opaque language and has no origins in racism.

Diddums .
Sounds as though your head is as soft as your backside .

We are highly offended by your use of the name Rodimus .
You fail abysmally to live up to its meaning.
" Infirmus" and " Imbecillus " are more apt Latin names .

Don't create an offense where there is none:

Gobbledygook is a term for complex and unclear language full of confusing jargon and long words. The word gobbledygook comes from 1944, inspired by a turkey and it's gobbling.

There are enough offenses out there to find you. Unless you're a turkey, you can let this one go...

but the word gook is racist. and the word chink in chink-in-the-armor is racist too.
True--but if you parse words in language like that you could make many words into something they aren't. It is a nonsense word for nonsense. The same goes for your other example. A chink in armor has meant a weak spot in armor since long before someone made it into racist term. Same goes for the sealant that goes between the logs of a log cabin--they predate the term you're referencing. I think you're being too sensitive.

Rodimus, 'racisism' rests in the use of the word, not the word itself.

When my dad suspected something shady going on, he would say “There’s a n****r in the woodpile”.

I don’t know what that means, by I know what dad meant when he said it.
