Why should I do that? They are yet another "good idea" that has become a bureaucracy more involved in insanity than what they were created to do.
No, I have absolutely no interest in "confronting" anybody. Trying to inform zealots is pointless and a waste of time. The absolute most you can do is try to inform those that have open minds to accept that the rants of zealots are nonsensical and that there is more at play than the musings of adult children.
No, I leave the "confronting" to the zealots, that is the kind of thing they love doing. I simply sit in the background and point out where and why so many of their rantings are wrong. And in the end smile, because as more and more time passes and their rantings never come true they do a pretty damned good job of making their own failures clear.
Their rantings might have sounded good, 20-30 years ago. But we are now decades into their rantings, and not only is nothing they promised happened, we have seen the actual reverse of their claims and still nothing changes other than on the scale they already were. Almost as if their rantings were meaningless and had no connection at all.
Kinda like the connection between ice cream and sharks.
The interesting thing is, I bet almost nobody in here really knows what my "beliefs" on such things are. Why? Because I do not discuss "my beliefs", they are meaningless. I am here to discuss science, primarily geology. What I believe is meaningless.
