Yes, clinton was a pretty good POTUS. I liked him quite a lot in spite of his personal issues. Everything you wrote was factual except for that deficit being erased part. That was done by gingrich and the repubs in the House. Probably the last time that Congress actually did a good job. Clinton was merely along for the ride in that case.

In 1995, Clinton shut the government down demanding MORE MORE MORE SPENDING (Dem STEALING) in the budget. Newt said no. The US prospered despite Bill Clinton and the Dems, and the LESSON is that TAX AND SPENDING CUTS are GOOD.

Ummm...Conservatives didn't balance the budget. In fact, they shut down the government over Clinton's budget which did balance the budget. Also, they voted for a tax cut in 1997 that would have thrown the nascent surplus into a deficit. Clinton vetoed that tax cut, but it would eventually pass four years later when Bush the Dumber was President. And that's when the surplus was turned into four record deficits over the next 8 years (including the highest deficit of all time) that doubled the debt.

It was Conservatives who shut down the government over the very budget Clinton wanted that did balance the budget. Remember that? Clinton's 1996 budget (that was signed into law) was $300M above what Conservatives wanted, and shut down the government over. Conservatives then tried to pass a tax cut in 1997 that Clinton vetoed because it would have erased the nascent surplus. That tax cut was eventually passed and signed into law in 2001, by Bush the Dumber. Inevitably, the surpluses vanished and record deficits appeared. The Bush Tax Cuts were billed as "paying for themselves" by way of generating all this economic activity. Yeah, that didn't happen:

Nope. The budget signed into law was $300M above what Conservatives wanted. They lost the shutdown fight because of it. It's why Clinton won re-election in 1996. Also, your chart shows spending growing every year of Clinton. So you say there were no spending increases, yet that is precisely what the chart you posted shows. So help me understand you...when you look at something, what is it you see? Because it's certainly not reality.

So then how come all of a sudden we had deficits and shitty growth beginning in 2002? It was the same GOP Congress during Clinton. Only change was a Conservative in the White House instead of a Democrat. And, as expected, the deficit exploded, debt doubled, and we had the worst economic crash since the Depression.

Also, there's this...that shows Outlays (spending) growing every year of Clinton:
