The opposite of voluntary is compulsory.Voluntary is voluntary. I don't condone it, but if people want to hide in their bubbles, that's up them.
Many such school referendums fail. Schools can't "levy" anything.Which changes what
They should! They make it seem as though they aren't already fundedMany such school referendums fail. Schools can't "levy" anything.
School funding should be based on the success of their graduates. They should! They make it seem as though they aren't already funded
Yep.The opposite of voluntary is compulsory.
School segregation in public schools is a Constitutional violation. There's no need for a federal bureaucracy to combat it. Just the Court.
Not sure what you're saying. The federal government has the power to force states to abide by the Constitution. No federal bureaucracy required.Yes there is when the alternative is the state enforcing it
You mean NEIGHBORHOOD schools which I favor. It makes absolutely zero sense to force little 5 year old Johnny and 6 year old Jane to have to get up at 4:30AM and grab a bus to cart them all the way across town for the 8AM bell when a school that is a mere 5 blocks away could be walked to within 10 to 15 minutes, but Johnny and Jane can't go.to because of some bullshit racial quota. When they had zero input we got things like school segregation
We just passed a referendum. Our teachers got a 7 percent raise. It passed with an 80/20 yes vote.New facility requests are usually subject to referendums.

How about cultural support within the curriculum, and doesn't that fly in the face of assimilation?

I would say age 40. The measurement would be their net value to themselves, their family, and to society. Of course, extenuating circumstance could be considered. How far after graduation and what would the measurement be?
WW
Kids usually do. It's when they grow up that the problems begin. The kids are assimilating just fine.

The Fed only accounts for 8 percent of school budgets. State and local government provides the other 92 percent. We have an federal education department that takes ton's of tax money top fund theses schoolos
I would start with general health. Are citizens who went through 12 to 20 years of formal education healthy. If not, why not.And how would you measure such "value."?
