why has MSNBC 448 Obama impeachment mentions in July alone??

The Speaker of the House stated that there are no plans to impeach. The Democrats need to keep saying the opposite because it's a useful fundraising tactic.

Of course the Republicans want to keep dicussion of impeachment off the the table in an election year. They did the same thing with Bill Clinton

Impeachment of Bill Clinton - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Since Ken Starr had already completed an extensive investigation, the House Judiciary Committee conducted no investigations of its own into Clinton's alleged wrongdoing, and it held no serious impeachment-related hearings before the 1998 mid-term elections. Impeachment proceedings were initiated during the post-election, "lame duck" session of the outgoing 105th United States Congress.

The House impeached Bill Clinton on Dec 19 1998 six weeks after the 1998 congressional election was completed

The Speaker of the house said impeachment is not on the table.

When did he say that. Pelosi challenged him to take impeachment off the table the way she did regarding Bush when she was speaker. She made the challenge yesterday. Is there something current in the news or is he still refusing to take it off the table?

They insisted on shutting down the government

I'm not interested in your idiotic blind accusations that you believe just because you want to. I do have a question on this though. What did the Democrats offer them since Republicans are the ones who shut "down the government?" I don't remember them offering Republicans dick. You can refresh my memory.

Offer?
For allowing the government to function?

What did TeaPublicans offer the American people for wasting $26 billion in a temper tantrum fed shutdown?

So now it's the democrat's fault for republicans talking about impeachment.

So much for republicans being the party of personal responsibility because they can't take responsibility for anything.

The Republicans ARE NOT talking about impeachment. The Dumbos are the ones saying they are.

Dimwit. Get with the program.

At least 15 Republican Congressional Representatives have called for, threatened or voiced support for impeachment. And persons normally viewed as Republican spokespersons are talking their heads off suggesting impeachment.

Deflection. You said the "Republicans" shut down the government. What compromise did the Democrats offer since you don't hold them accountable?

I realize as a liberal you can't process or follow simple discussions, so I'll dumb it down for you. He means no one with credibility to do it is talking impeachment. He didn't mean no one literally. I mean that was blatantly obvious, but since other liberals can't actually read with more than minimal comprehension either, I'll give you a pass on that one. Even though I can't possibly see how you did not get what he meant. Obama isn't going to be impeached. Not gonna happen no matter how much you want it to.

Tell me again how you're the intelligent party, lol.

Well now, looks like impeachment is off the table. But the lawsuit is in. Guess what? Same amount of damage to the GOP.

I think you are right. This law suit thing is going to backfield on the boobs.

Now you are deflecting

How does someone compromise with someone involved in extortion?
Give me what I want or I will shut down government

This myth isn't going to fly. Give it up.

The Republicans finally woke up to the fact that crazy talk about impeachment isn't going to help them politically,

and since all they care about is political power, they're now desperately trying to blame impeachment talk on Democrats.

Hey I'm only repeating the facts that MSNBC is calling for impeachment 4 times as often as Fox.

You really need to get a life....

That is why Democrats are not allowing Republicans to lay low on impeachment before the election. They want them on the record....NOW.....while they are still accountable to the voters

I see, so you're assuming Republicans aren't liars like the Democrats and would not say they are not going to impeach Obama now and then do it anyway, like Democrats would. Your faith in your own side is pretty low, isn't it?

Now that's an interesting change from your thread title. Your title says them MENTION "impeachment" 448 times....and now you change it to they are "calling for" impeachment.

You know that is two different things, right?

First, you don't know what deflection means. You're on the internet, you realize you could just open a tab and google it, no?

Second, so to you, when Democrats present a budget it's take it or leave it, and leaving it makes the Republicans responsible for shutting down the government and "extortion," and Democrats don't have to offer Republicans anything, Republicans just have to give them their way.

I knew that, I just wanted you to say it. Democrat budgets are to be passed as is, period. Got it.

Fool me once....shame on you
Fool me twice ......shame on me

We have already seen Republicans play their impeachment card immediately after an election. Dems are trying to force their card BEFORE the election

What happens for people like you who don't catch on ever? What do we call you?

I see, so because they impeached one Democrat once, now we can assume they will impeach all Democrats every time. We don't need any evidence, we just know. Even though they didn't the last two times your scenario was presented. Does it not embarrass you at all to post that level of idiocy?

The problem is that Republicans are trying to distance themselves from impeachment talks and Democrats won't let them

I bet you had a lot of imaginary friends as a child huh? It's time for you to realize they aren't real.

Ah...once again, we have Gramps attacking a poster personally rather than addressing the topic at hand....which is the mentions of "impeachment" by the networks and by the Democrats and Republicans. Do you have anything to say about the topic of the thread?

If they retain a majority in the house after November?

Look for an impeachment.

Which will seal the votes of Black Americans in the Democratic column for several more generations.

LOL, demonstrating my last post. The Republicans aren't impeaching Obama. You do so enjoy the stick up your butt, don't you?

Yet. People are trying to find out if they are holding that card until after the mid-terms. I'm betting they are.

House Republicans Schedule Obama Impeachment Hearings - The Daily Currant

House Republicans Schedule Obama Impeachment Hearings

Republicans in the House of Representatives have scheduled impeachment proceedings against President Obama, claiming his inability to halt the federal government shutdown makes him unfit for office.

I realize you're an idiot, but your article doesn't say anything about impeachment having any broad support or leadership support or any likelyhood of passing. All you did is repeat the point that there are a minority of Republicans who support impeachment. Read my post again, I already explained that.
