why has MSNBC 448 Obama impeachment mentions in July alone??

The scoreboard so far in July:
Fox News has 95 mentions of impeachment, and MSNBC 448.
That works out to about 2.7 mentions per hour of original programming on MSNBC, or once every 22 minutes.
(This data is as of late Tuesday afternoon.)

WHY????

I'm guessing they were reporting on what Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann and other prominent Republicans were saying.

Saying and actual doing are two very different things.
This is why we have free speech.

How come they aren't reporting what the Speaker of the House said?

Are you too stupid to realize that a scan for 'impeachment' mentions on MSNBC would include those mentions by Speaker Boehner?

Yes, I think you are.

This myth isn't going to fly. Give it up.

The Republicans finally woke up to the fact that crazy talk about impeachment isn't going to help them politically,

and since all they care about is political power, they're now desperately trying to blame impeachment talk on Democrats.

The problem is that Republicans are trying to distance themselves from impeachment talks and Democrats won't let them

In other words the merely stupid Republicans are trying to throw the certifiably insane Republicans under the bus.

As I said yesterday, this all about the GOP trying to move beyond the Republican primaries to the general election. They are trying to moderate all the crazy shit they had to support when they were pandering to the nuts on far right who disproportionately vote in the primaries.

Hey I'm only repeating the facts that MSNBC is calling for impeachment 4 times as often as Fox.

No they aren't.

Of course the Republicans want to keep dicussion of impeachment off the the table in an election year. They did the same thing with Bill Clinton

Impeachment of Bill Clinton - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Since Ken Starr had already completed an extensive investigation, the House Judiciary Committee conducted no investigations of its own into Clinton's alleged wrongdoing, and it held no serious impeachment-related hearings before the 1998 mid-term elections. Impeachment proceedings were initiated during the post-election, "lame duck" session of the outgoing 105th United States Congress.

The House impeached Bill Clinton on Dec 19 1998 six weeks after the 1998 congressional election was completed

The Speaker of the house said impeachment is not on the table.

Of course he said that. He doesn't want Republican congressmen to have to answer impeachment questions in an election year....he knows how unpopular it is

But, much like Clinton, watch for impeachment to raise its head immediately after the election
That is why Democrats are raising the issue now as Republicans struggle to hush-hush it

The only way that would happen is if the Republicans got a supermajority. I don't see that happening.

The Democrats know that nutjob Republicans do what they want after the election is over

That is why they are trying to pin Republicans to a position right now while they have to be on their best behavior

I bet you had a lot of imaginary friends as a child huh? It's time for you to realize they aren't real.

Doesn't stop them from bringing impeachment charges in the House

The GOP has been talking about impeachment since Obama first got into office. They've been saying he wasn't born here.

Conservatives, at various times, have called for Obama to be killed either by an act of god or by an assassin's bullet.

Did you think this deplorable conduct would be ignored?

If they retain a majority in the house after November?

Look for an impeachment.

Which will seal the votes of Black Americans in the Democratic column for several more generations.

That is why Democrats are not allowing Republicans to lay low on impeachment before the election. They want them on the record....NOW.....while they are still accountable to the voters

Yes, Democrats not only put the block on their shoulder, but if Republicans don't knock it off, they will themselves. Being offended is what they do best.

LOL, demonstrating my last post. The Republicans aren't impeaching Obama. You do so enjoy the stick up your butt, don't you?

Republicans did the same thing with Clinton. They waited until six weeks after the midterm elections...THEN they filed impeachment charges

Democrats are being proactive this time

I see, I didn't realize you have proof. And there have been two midterm elections since with a sitting Democrat President, is that just further proof they will do it this time?

Obama should be impeached, but so should most of the rest of them in both parties. They aren't going to because there is no point. They don't really care how m uch you want them to.

You don't realize that one third of the Republican Party is batshit crazy. They insisted on shutting down the government (waited for a non-election year of course) and they will not be satisfied until Obama faces impeachment charges. This is the first midterm election since Republicans won the house in 2010.

Can the sane Republicans tell them to sit down and shut up? They haven't so far

They insisted on shutting down the government

I'm not interested in your idiotic blind accusations that you believe just because you want to. I do have a question on this though. What did the Democrats offer them since Republicans are the ones who shut "down the government?" I don't remember them offering Republicans dick. You can refresh my memory.

So now it's the democrat's fault for republicans talking about impeachment.

So much for republicans being the party of personal responsibility because they can't take responsibility for anything.

The Republicans ARE NOT talking about impeachment. The Dumbos are the ones saying they are.

Dimwit. Get with the program.
