I hate to break it to you, but evolution is no longer classified as a "theory." Most biologists and even the Catholic church recognizes evolution as "fact." Not all of the mechanisms involved in the process is entirely understood.
The evolution of the horse is a good example of evolution over the eons.
A female didn't spring from a man's rib. That's your fairytale. An all-powerful, all-knowing, all-seeing, deity whipping all things together and watching everything you say or do is your other fairytale.

It cannot explain the origin of life. It cannot begin to explain the Cambrian Explosion. Transitional species for which we have no evidence? Has mankind ever noted evolution itself...one species evolving into another? I don't think so.

It's a nice teaching tool, but the people who are most convinced that it is a "fact" are those with the least scientific bona fides. Witness this very thread. Leftists with degrees in Ethnic Studies preaching about how Evolution is a certainty.

It happens all the time, with self replicating proteins.
Then you will have slight mutations over time, so complexity can increase, even though it only seems like a contradiction to entropy.
We have observed all the step of abiogenesis, and proven it in labs.
There is absolutely no question about it.

Wrong.
Evolution is slow, but has been observed, mostly with short lived animals.
And in fact, all breeding programs, like for domesticate animals, are proof of evolution.
All evolution requires is for the inbred species to no longer be able to interbreed with the original species any more, and we have observed that millions of times.
And in fact it is obvious that evolution is constant with all species.

In fact, to doubt evolution at all is blatantly insane, since clearly through all the different phases of life on the planet, they are all incredibly different. There is almost no life that did not significantly evolve, with about the only exception being the sea sponge.

As for the Cambrian explosion, the most likely explanation is that we simply do not notice the remains of earlier periods, and trilobites are very hard to miss.

Nobody can return to the beginning and know for a fact. If you think God did not do it, try this out. Life forms don't exist. Or try this out. Earth has a known number of elements. The elements decided to create life. And we know it because life is created as new forms every day of the year. What is your choice?

Life is constantly being created.
The birth of any organism is life created out of inanimate chemicals.

The proof of evolution is obvious.
There are canines that no longer can breed with other dogs.
Some extinct dog breeds include the Alpine Mastiff, Bullenbeisser, and German Bulldog.
While dogs and wolves interbreed and their progeny is viable and fertile, certain breeds like Cuon, Lupulella, and Lycaon cannot breed with each other or with Canis.
