Why don't you want to tax the rich?

why would I??

if they earned their money legally then its theirs not ours,,

they already pay the majority of taxs,, maybe have the people that pay nothing step up and get a job and be a benefit to society not a burden,,
From 1944 to 1963 the tax rate was 90+%. All indicators including GDP and standard of living and more for everybody grew at more than twice the rate it does now. Today the rich get richer at an astounding rate higher than the non-rich.

That was because post WWII the US completely dominated the world’s industrial output and it was working to rebuild Europe and Japan.

It wasn’t because of high tax rates, you idiot.

The high tax rates didn't prevent the rich from becoming massively richer.

They generally worked harder and longer. Plus they put their capital at risk to create the jobs
And they have the capital, and the choice whether to put it at risk. The rest of us are just trying to put food on the table, and a roof over their head.

. It’s good thing these people took that risk. The rest need those jobs the wealthy create.

How do you think the money is earned to put that roof over your head?

The rich don't altruistically create jobs. Hiring is always intended to maximize profit., not as some sort of gift to employees.

The rich create jobs because they are driven. They want to create something which provides goods or services people need.

Hiring is meant to find the employees who are the best qualified to help a business achieve success. Employees earn a wage or salary. Often they receive added benefits like health care insurance and retirement plans and paid vacations. That’s their gift.

If you are opposed, why?

Why do you oppose aggressive taxation of people making more than $250,000+ a year or $400,000+ a year annually?
Ah, because it's not your money and it's none of your business what people earn you mooching losers. Get a 2nd job, work off some of your 300 lbs.

Those aren't gifts to employees
