Simply not true at all. Wages have consistently rose faster than inflation the past 2 years.
The "less stuff" they can get is all due to 2022-23 40 year high inflation.
Inflation has been outstandingly low and stable for the past 1.5 years.

I max out in March.

This is in the federal tax code.

If you make less than +/- 130,000 a year, you pay SS taxes on every penny you make. If you make +/-130,001 a year... you pay $0.00 taxes on money made above that amount. The very wealthy actually take home more money later in the year than they do in the beginning.

Those doing well take home more money later in the year. But the well off see a few weeks of deductions. My bonus pays out in March. I max out then. Rest of the year is SS free!
