Why don't Democrats openly endorse socialism?

It seems to me that Democrats want socialism but are afraid to say they want socialism. Why is that? Is it because they are embarrassed to be socialists? Is it because they can't make an affirmative argument for socialism? Or is it because they know it is wrong to steal other people's money and they don't want to go on record as being thieves?

Can some of you more socially minded fellows explain what your hold up is on socialism?

How do you personally define socialism?
Socialism intentionally denies examination because it is irrational. There is no formal defined dogma of socialism. Instead there is only a vague, rosy notion of something good, noble and just: the advent of these things will bring instant euphoria and a social order beyond reproach. Socialism seeks equality through uniformity and communal ownership Socialism has an extraordinary ability to incite and inflame its adherents and inspire social movements. Socialists dismiss their defeats and ignore their incongruities. They desire big government and use big government to implement their morally relativistic social policies. Socialism is a religion. The religious nature of socialism explains their hostility towards traditional religions which is that of one rival religion over another. Their dogma is based on materialism, primitive instincts, atheism and the deification of man. They see no distinction between good and evil, no morality or any other kind of value, save pleasure. They practice moral relativity, indiscriminate indiscriminateness, multiculturalism, cultural Marxism and normalization of deviance. They worship science but are the first to reject it when it suits their purposes. They can be identified by an external locus of control. Their religious doctrine is abolition of private property, abolition of family, abolition of religion and equality via uniformity and communal ownership. They practice critical theory which is the Cultural Marxist theory to criticize what they do not believe to arrive at what they do believe without ever having to examine what they believe. They confuse critical theory for critical thinking. Critical thinking is the practice of challenging what one does believe to test its validity. Something they never do.
Has a religion ever practiced socialism?

Some say archaic Christianity was a form of primitive communism :)

Well then you are simply not seeing straight or don't understand what that word means.

Socialism would be government owning majority of the means of economic output, very few Democrats support something like that.

Yes, Gnostics were a reaction to Christianity and they were socialists. There are others.

Today though socialists behave like it is a religion. They have dogma like it is a religion and they attack rival religions like they are rival religions. They push their "moral" agenda like a religion.

Yes, there were sects that did that and those sects tried to subordinate the dominant religion just as socialism has always done.

IOW you have no idea what socialism is. Big surprise.
Then it shouldn't be too hard to prove what I wrote wrong. Go for it.

You are insane. Socialism is no more undefined or unexaminable then capitalism.

Well if it isn't defined then it could be ANYTHING and that way you can keep ranting about it while giving it any meaning you want to.

Neat little arrangement you've constructed in your head - should be text book stuff for nutter derangement 101.
That was my point. They won't define it because it is irrational and has no chance of being accepted so they practice deceit. There is only a vague, rosy notion of something good, noble and just: the advent of these things will bring instant euphoria and a social order beyond reproach. But it is all bullshit. They desire big government and use big government to implement their morally relativistic social policies. They seek equality through uniformity and communal ownership.

I have defined it. They won't. You can't define their policies, can you? Here, I'll do it for you, Ok? Abolition of private property, abolition of family, abolition of religion and equality via uniformity and communal ownership. There, can you defend these things?

Most college book stores sell small booklets explaining the various ideologies, you might try one. What has socialism to do with Karl Marx? Marx only created one type, among many, and it died rather quickly. Wonder why so many socialists were upset with Marx?

Same reason they don't explicitly advocate Open Borders. They are pussies. Everything Democrats propose they depend on the stupidity of those who vote for them. Gruber stated that.

You put forth socialism like it's an all or nothing thing. America has had socialism since we became a nation. So far most of the successful nation like the United States have some socialism, some capitalism, and maybe even a pinch of fascism and communism.
We are a mixed economy and have been since we began.

Are you familiar with the concept of gradualism?

I agree with you that we are mixed economy and indeed LIMITED Socialism and facets of Socialism are a part. The problem is that many Democrats and Liberals are pushing us to be less Capitalist based economy and more euro style socialist, crony capitalist style economy.

You say that; but, "your guy" has nothing but social plans instead of any capital plans.

Can You explain why the right prefers to "ditch Capitalism" for their socialism on a national basis, regarding immigration?

I don't have a guy.

Why don't the Dems just endorse socialism?

Because W outspent them and outsocialized them....

Can't be "socialist" when the "conservatives" outspend you....
