Dead men pay no taxes....so I dont think that's true.
Cant be king in a cemetary....the constituents tend to ignore you and absolutely refuse to cheer.

However....being inept? Overlooking great solutions for more politically expedient ones? (So you can claim you did something wonderful even if it was wrong.)
