Seriously though, as to the Big Bang, I agree there was a Big Bang, I agree there was a point where everything expanded out from a point of creation. The house is still out though as to the actual cause of that event, exactly what went on during and shortly after that event, and whether this was a one-off event or just one more in many repeating cycles of recurring universes.

The CMB and red shift are the empirical evidence of the universe popping into existence. The formation of the CMB explains how the universe popped into existence.
