Why does Trump deny Russian meddling?

/----/
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announcing the Friday the 13th indictment: ‘In our justice system, everyone who is charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.'” Rosenstein was saying these Russians are innocent until we prove it. Well, guess what? We’re not gonna prove it because there isn’t gonna be a trial, because these Russians are never gonna get served.

And if they are as he needed, they’re not gonna be extradited, and Mueller knows it! Just like he thought the Russian troll farms would never show up in court when one of them did! That’s another no-no today. Putin started talking about Concord Management. You’re not supposed to embarrassing Mueller by pointing out that one of the people he charged showed up and pled not guilty, demanding to see the evidence, and Mueller doesn’t have any, so he won’t produce it. You’re not supposed to bring that up, and Putin did.

And you know to a fact they have no evidence even tho a grand jury was it and decided they did? Enough to go to trial, that is awesome, now you can prove this of course.
/——/ It would have leaked by now in order to drive down Trumps numbers and drive a wedge between his supporters. They got nothing.

Only Rump and his cronies leak, RM and this team have leaked nothing. Or they do not have anything, the grand jury disagrees with you but we all know you have all the nonevidence.

Ahhhhhh meme, soul food for the trumptard horde when got nothing.
/——/ I’m glad they get under your skin. Truth hurts.

And Trump will testify against her never.

President Trump wouldn't necessarily have to testify her, the blackmail request was allegedly made to Mr. Cohen, Mr. Trump's representative.

You're being silly.

How do you figure?

The crime of extortion doesn't depend on whether or not the story of Trump's alleged affair with Daniels is true or false. Its still a crime to shake someone down over it in either case.

Ms. Daniels could have gone to the media and immediately sold the story , and regardless of whether it was true or false, it would not be blackmail. It might be libel, but it would not be blackmail. The blackmail was in requesting money from Mr. Trump's representatives.

No it is laughable that you believe it does though.

Because the point is Trump was vulnerable, and Trump will pay to keep secrets. You're avoiding that.

Blackmailers look for vulnerable targets, just like robbers, murderers, rapists, etc. Doesn't make their activities "legal" at all.

The amount of money in question here was like pocket change to man like Trump. Perhaps he felt that it was money well spent, as this was right before the election and he didn't want to have the voters distracted.

But again, that doesn't mean it wasn't a crime.

Daniels had dirt on Trump. Trump paid.

What if Putin has dirt on Trump? What does Trump's history say he will do?

What if, what if? That's certainly something to consider for the electorate.

But Paula Corbin Jones had the dirt on the Clintons and they paid.

I look at it as "so what", since Putin doesn't have anything on our President.

Clinton did not pay hush money. Paula Jones sued him, and he ultimately was ordered to pay some money. Your equivalency claim is not accurate.

How do you know Putin doesn't have anything on him? We didn't know about Stormy Daniels or Karen McDougal a few months ago. We don't how many people, if any, have been recipients of Trump hush money.

I did say "if", putting it purely in the realm of the hypothetical, but IF Putin has kompromat, what does Trump's history say he will do?

Given the indictments handed down last Friday detailing who, when and where the Russians actively interfered with the 2016 elections, why does Donald Trump still deny the Russians did what they clearly did?

Is it because Special Counsel Mueller handed down the indictment? Is it because, in Trump's mind, Russian meddling delegitimizes his election? Or is it because the Trump campaign acted in concert with the Russians, therefore showing collusion?

Any way you slice it, Trump's denial shows he trusts the word of Vladimir Putin over the American intelligence community and his own Department of Justice. How then can these entities then trust the president? How can we trust the president?

This is beyond partisan politics. This shakes the foundations of our electoral system and our men and women in service to our nation as they perform their duties as intelligence gathering institutions.
Our intelligence community sucks. They do not give a fuck about the citizens or their rights. That is why the used a Kremlin authored dossier to obtain multiple FISA warrants.

House memo states disputed dossier was key to FBI’s FISA warrant to surveil members of Team Trump

Not only that, but the intelligence community lost its fucking mind with power under Obama.

Trump is right to care deeply about US Intelligence corruption. He picked the wrong stage to tackle the massive issue.

Post 9-11 domestic surveillance is an issue, but I don't see the nexus between it and Russia in the 16 election. Nor do I see that Trump ever saw it as an issue.

The 2016 election is important because it is a guide to what Russia may do again. Trump's reasons for ignoring 16 are open for ... guessing.

Inevitably Mueller at some point will have to publish what evidence might support Trump working with the Russians

I'm sorry you're so cynical. Do you believe the Kremlin more than our own national intelligence community? If so, why do you consider yourself a patriotic American?

Stop with the Generalization. Meddling, what did they do that you call it meddling?
post stuff in FB for a Presidential candidate while pretending to be somebody they aren't? Everybody does that. It's called Freedom of Speech.
What specifically did they do?
Whose vote did they change?

That is the root of the problem. The failed US Intelligence groups took the side of the Kremlin to try and elect Hillary. The DNC, Obama and Hillary weaponized the Intelligence groups to work against US citizens. Unmasking, fake evidence from the Kremlin used in FISA court, ignoring all of Hillary's email from her rogue server that were sent to foreign countries, destruction of evidence, and on and on.

First of all, it is not clear at all that any of the accusations against those Russian citizens have any merit whatsoever, because the FBI refuses to release any sort of compelling evidence against the accused. Furthermore, they are not accused of interfering with our election, as you claim. That makes you a lying piece of shit right in the first sentence of your post. Those Russians are merely accused of attempting to interfere with the elections. Nothing in the indictment indicates that they were in any way successful. Furthermore, Trump has not denied that they did in fact attempt to interfere with the US elections. Therefore you told the USMB forum two big fat whopping lies in the first paragraph of your post, jackass.

Could you explain to the forumers, exactly why you are lying to them?

I thought this. When I came to the American forums a few years ago, I was very depressed at how mindlessly the average American on the Internet believes the media. Especially it was sad in those cases when the media wrote, for example, an obvious lie about Russia, easily visible from Russia itself. But it is impossible to refute this when referring to an American when he believes that the media always speaks only the truth, and the one who says the other is always the Russian Putin troll :)

Now I see that the blind trust in the media in the US has been undermined by many. And people start to think with their own heads. Try to understand the situation yourself, and not use the ready-made headlines. There are still not so many, as we would like, but enough to rejoice over the United States. Smart self-thinking people - it is always beneficial for the country where they live, and for those who have a relationship with such a country.

Donald Trump was a civilian and had no power to engage in or stop Russian Meddling. He probably would have been arrested if he tried to enter FBI Hq. or the freaking CIA while he was a candidate judging by the attitude of the bureaucratic a-holes at the time.. If there was "Russian Meddling" it's on Obama's skinny shoulders.

Getting a leg up from Putin offends Trump's massive ego. It's as simple as that.

Plus, Trump has wanted Putin to love him for many years. Now that Putin has requited that love for him, Trump will be his bitch for life.
I said this yesterday before the press conference when Trump tossed Putin's salad in front of the entire world.

TA-DAAAAAAAAAAA!

There's really no logical or sinister explanation for that press conference.

Trump is in completely over his head, he doesn't understand context, and he said some truly dumb stuff at a very critical moment.

It's not exactly a surprise. This is precisely the kind of thing many of us were afraid of.
Is there anything you disagree with that Trump said during the press conference with Putin.
