The moment was remarkable both for its awkwardness and for what went unsaid: Vought’s reticence before lawmakers notwithstanding, the OMB director has spent years voicing passionate support for Christian nationalism.​

“We are a Christian nation,” Vought said in a 2022 address to Intercessors for America, a conservative Christian group. “We talk about under God, we are a Christian nation, we were meant to be a Christian nation. We have lost that. That means that, yes, we love religious liberty, but to the extent that we don’t even have Christians that talk about how we’re a Christian nation, something’s wrong there.”​

The declining birthrate has nothing to do with porn. It's a combination of affluence in society which always results in lower birth rates and the modern belief that women don't need men. They are independent and don't want to be saddled with caring for children until they are in their forties when it's too late because the eligible men have either decided to not need permanent relations with women or have picked up a younger trophy type wife.

For 50 plus years, Congress did nothing to make abortions legal and both parties used that decision as a wedge issue. Those are the facts, no lies.

In the 70’s there were liberal and conservative Republicans and liberal and Conservative Democrats, had anyone in Congress introduced a bill legalizing abortion, it would have most likely passed.

That’s the way it was and to this day, it is still unsettled law, which is pretty stupid on Congress’ part.
