You're trying to impose logical consistency on those who are suffering from severe mental- and moral health issues.

Madness doesn't work that way. A lack of logical consistency is pretty much one of its defining characteristics.

Beats the hell out of them trying to impose their illogical inconsistency on the rest of us.

And while I don't expect to get the hairy female impersonators to accept the fact that they aren't women and never will be - I don't really care if they do or not - I do expect to hold the line against them imposing on others. Also, I think there's an excellent chance of getting the lunatics who are the radical feminists who identify as women to recognize where their own best interests lie, even if they remain insane on everything else.

Studies suggest that gender dysphoria may have biological causes associated with the development of gender identity before birth.

More research is needed before the causes of gender dysphoria can be fully understood.

There may be rare conditions like congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH), and intersex conditions (also known as hermaphroditism) which may also result in gender dysphoria.

In CAH a female foetus has adrenal glands (small caps of glands over the kidneys) that produce high level of male hormones. This enlarges the female genitals and the female baby may be confused with a male at birth.

Intersex conditions mean babies may be born with the genitalia of both sexes. In these cases the child is allowed to grow and choose his or her own before any surgery is carried out to confirm it.

Other causes of gender dysphoria​

• There may be chromosomal abnormalities that may lead to gender dysphoria.
• Sometimes defects in normal human bonding and child rearing may be contributing factor to gender identity disorders.

Seems to me there's a lot of speculation and not a lot of fact there. "May be", "may have", "more research is needed, but we think . . ."

And lumping the very small number of people who have hermaphroditism in there as though they have anything to do with the physically-normal adults deluding themselves that they can wish their gender changed invalidates the whole thing as nothing but a biased exercise in excuses.

Still the best treatment is to get them over it. Surgery should be a last resort because it doesn't actually give them the gender they think they are.

A man who has had surgery to make him look more like a woman is not a woman. He's still a man, albeit a mutilated, dysfunctional version thereof.

There is no technology that now exists, nor that can reasonably be anticipated to exist any time in the foreseeable future, that can genuinely turn a man into a woman. To promote such quasi-medical Frankensteinery as any kind of valid solution is as mad as the mental disease which it seeks to address.

Biology is absolutely clear about the distinction between male and female, and the significance of the relation and distinction between the two sexes in the perpetuation of a species.
