Zone1 Why are there so many Old Testament Christians?

I'm not going to repeat all that. You can read back through the thread as easily as I can and should since you are asking the question.
I'm not surprised you are unable or unwilling to offer a concise statement of how I was wrong.

I often wonder how people become so terribly prejudiced against religion or this or that religious group or this or that person ...

you dwell in baiting the obvious ...

I also understand that superstition and fear are very much in play in some religions. Some more than others it seems.
What superstition is which religion(s) comes immediately to mind?

What superstition (in which religion) comes immediately to mind?

Superstitious beliefs by those who stubbornly refuse to accept the widely agreed upon fact that the bible is more allegory than literal truth.

That the Jews are held above everybody else. They are superior, the goyim are inferior. That is the foundational myth of the Scofield Bible, and I know many friends and family who believe it.

It is clearly outlined in your own post that I rejected as anything close to being fact/accurate.
It's clearly outlined, but you would rather not mention it. Got it!

you do consider the commandments in all three desert religions to be no more than superstitions - made up for the benefit of a few for their religion of servitude and denial warned against by jesus ... surly.

Here is the take from Jews who study the Old Testament (Hebrew Scriptures), from Catholic/Orthodox (largest Christian denomination) and other Protestants who do not use the Scofield Bible:

Jews are not held above anyone else. They were/are chosen for a particular task/chore. They were to be a people who live apart from others to closely follow The Law of God. It is on par of having a family who is working on painting, cleaning, repairing their house, and one of the children is chosen to go out (and therefore apart) from the others to mow, prune, and weed the yard. This child is not held above anyone else, he is assigned/chosen for a different task.

Or, the year at school where one of the teachers was chosen, and set apart from teaching, to be Vice-Principal. This did not make him superior to all other teachers, but put him in a separate role to teaching--which, by the way, is a role ninety-percent (or more) teachers would flee from screaming if they were chosen for it.

They are but they will eventually come around or be brought around.
How do you know they are on God's shit list? And how do you know they will eventually come around? Will free will be suspended?

Trust me my friend, no Christians find challenges to their supernatural beliefs as 'boring'. We're now seeing a surge of fighting back to defend their beliefs.

And a tendency to ignore atheism by the more enlightened Christians who understand that defending it leads to mockery. They're silently rethinking what is left for them to believe?

YOu need to choose what kind you're going to be and then stick to it!

Let's start with Jonah and the big fish story first!
I don't make friends with militant atheists. Sorry.

What were the other tribes of Israel chosen for?

Bible sez so.

the chrisrian bible is an extension of the false religion of judaism.

the 1st century is the repudiation of judaism's false commandments, hereditary idolatry religion of apartheid -

so much so the jews w/ roman (christian) complicity murdered jesus as proof who wrote the 4th century christian bible were no less as the crucifiers who included the same false commandments, idolatries and religious apartheid of judaism written in their 4th century christian bible.

So, the forgers of the Bible wrote about a mythical city, Ninevah, then went out and built the city, then destroyed and buried it. Then in 1846 'discovered' it beneath 40 feet of earth?

is nineyah the religion of judaism - if they found that city then no problem finding the "lost" commandments that never existed or were ever seen by anyone than moses who made them up ...

or the equally egregious lies of abraham and their hereditary idolatry, religion of apartheid the christian bible reiterates in the 4th century after its repudiation by jesus.

A city of a million people is a bit larger than a couple of stone tablets.

If the ark of the covenant (the box holding the stone tablets) is ever found, you'll have your evidence. It may happen.
