Report: United States kept secret its chemical weapons finds in Iraq

The U.S. government suppressed information about chemical weapons it found in Iraq, and several servicemembers were injured by their exposure to those weapons, The New York Times is reporting.
In an article published late Tuesday, the newspaper says it found 17 American service members and seven Iraqi police officers who were exposed to mustard or nerve agents after 2003. They were reportedly given inadequate care and told not to talk about what happened.

"From 2004 to 2011, American and American-trained Iraqi troops repeatedly encountered, and on at least six occasions were wounded by, chemical weapons remaining from years earlier in Saddam Hussein's rule.

In addition to that, there are hundreds of roadblocks that restrict movement as well.

The IDF has also placed hundreds of physical obstacles in the West Bank in the form of concrete blocks, piles or dirt, or trenches, which prevent access to and from towns and villages.​

And then there are the forbidden roads.

Palestinian travel is restricted or entirely prohibited on 41 roads and sections of roads throughout the West Bank, including many of the main traffic arteries, covering a total of over 700 kilometers of roadway. Israelis can travel freely on these roads.​

Gaza, is a prison. No one can leave by air. No one can leave by sea. And only few residents can leave through Erez crossing, Kerem Shalom crossing or the Rafah crossing.

Israel only grants Gaza residents permission to cross in certain circumstances, usually for humanitarian reasons such as medical treatment.​

These checkpoints in the West Bank are illegal. The Israeli presence in the West Bank is illegal. And restricting Palestinian movement on their OWN ******* PROPERTY, is illegal.

The army, border police and other security agencies are called in by the Civil administration only to deal with security situations.

You don't need to have a physical presence in the area to constitute an occupation, if you maintain "effective control" of that area and Israel does just that.
