Why all the old boomers in the recent protests?

IMHO it’s quite simple. Their parents created peace and prosperity for their children (the boomers in the protests) that the world had never known.

They (for the most part) did not see there sons drafted into the .mil as many in the "greatest and silent generation" did.

These people have really never known hard times nor hard work as their parents did.

None walking the streets with their lame signs have lived in the streets. Few have missed a meal. Few have been oppressed.

They are weaker in spirit and love of country and believe the world should be an innocent happy place if we only spent more of other people's money.

They are not critical thinkers. They dismiss any evidence that does not support their philosophies, because there are no consequences for their views.

The bulk of them are old women with dead husbands that had provided for them in their waning years.....In other words they worked themselves to death for their benefit.

They live in a bubble of their own creation. They have no fear, because few shuffling about have ever known real violence on their doorsteps.

They are gullible and easy to manipulate, because they do not question anything in their information bubble. When challenged on facts, they respond with anger.
Derp derp.

Genius here lays out an argument that old people are dumb and out of touch.

Old people voted GOP by a large percent, and boomers split.

I sometimes wonder if you guys shit-post because you are dumb or stupid. I cant figure out which.

All you do is parrot DNC talking points....When they have enough grift money to send them out to ya.

I am an old Boomer. I hold most of the same views I held in 1970.

In 1970, my views were considered liberal, and I worked to understand actual liberal principles. Today, the same principles are considered conservative, which is why I would never attend such a rally organized by the elites who control the Democrat party.

I would suspect these same idiot protesters also support all the authoritarian measures implemented during the previous administration which were FAR more authoritarian in nature. They are followers, not thinkers.

Is it a sign of strength in your argument to abandon it and turn to insults? Let me ask ChatGPT:

I'm a boomer, and the only protests or demonstrations I participated in was a couple of Viet Nam rallies (not in uniform), the Helmet Laws Suck (motorcycle law) in Richmond, and one release the JFK documents around 1990. We did work to get Ross Perot on the ticket, though that wasn't really a protest, but it was.

They remember when this country was not ruled by a facist.
They want that country back.

They were hippies when they didn't have any actual responsibilities, took a few decades to have kids and make bank, and now as retired can go back to being hippies with no responsibilities.

/----/ They get their information on the 6 O'Clock Lame Stream Media news. They accept whatever is reported as being true. They reject the very notion that ABC, NBC, or CBS news would be lying to them.

7MM people. Thats the largest combined protest in US history. Play your stupid "they are paid" "they are just old hippy" games. The midterms are going to be interesting indeed.

You sure about that? Some of the numbers are already debunked.

When were we ever relieved of federal taxes?
That would be before 1913. And in the beginning most peasants dd not pay. Promises of no recessions/depressions came with the Federal Reserve Act. We were at war in WW 1 within a couple of years with hundreds of thousands of American men dying and disabled and a Depression about 15 years later caused by the Federal Reserve. A percentage of the population died from that until WW 2. which is a result of the Federal Reserve and near a half million American men killed and hundreds of millions of casualties, death and disabled on the planet.

A total bullshit number. At most there were a million. The really big venues didn't crack 150,000. Without those your numbers are a farce.
Our local media said 2500 to 3000 showed up, but organizers disputed that, saying the crowd was double those numbers. So I did a comparison.

The high school football stadium has a capacity seating of 10,000. The game the night before the protest featured 2 teams, each with 3 loses and the stadium was at capacity.

So, the high school football game, featuring 2 mediocre teams out drew the No Kings protest by a huge margin!

Yeah, that doesn’t really say much for crowd size.

You can’t make this 💩 up!

There must be something seriously wrong with anyone who pines for the days of Biden/Harris.

I attended the Lobby Day protest.

Damn it was cold that day.....The only arrest was a leftist Asian woman that refused to take off her mask.
